I've heard Princess of China so much! Especially on the pop stations. It makes me happy because then perhaps someone will like it and dig deeper to find out more about this true gem of a band. Idk, that's just how my brain works :rolleyes:

I've heard it on Radio Woodstock near me. I live about 45 minutes from Woodstock NY so it makes sense. I'm not quite sure though. Maybe?

I had ropa vieja for dinner and got the solo for my chorus' acapella rendition of Rolling in the Deep by Adele :D Pretty good day.

That's adorable! I've always wanted to sing Shiver to my crush, so he knows what I'm feeling. But that's silly, no? Fortunately I take chorus, maybe I'll sing it as my final project :D

I really should post pictures. Mine is painted Tiffany turquoise-blue, and I have a few little Coldplay-ish shrines. No posters though, I'm not allowed to tape/tack on my walls. So my corkboard is the only thing I'm allowed to Coldplay up :shame: But I have a Mylo Vinyl hanging on my wall :laugh3: Is it weird that I enjoy reading and viewing people's rooms? Total creeper here. :rolleyes:

:nod: Mylo Xyloto made me so happy. It pulled me out of a dark time in my life and opened up the window to a group that I had liked but have since fallen in love with. Sometimes when I've had a bad day I'll listen to MX (the entire album) and feel better. I don't really care for the "quality" of the lyrics or if things have been autotuned. I've really fallen in love with them, and I thus like anything they'll create as long as it makes me happy, which MX does :)

I know this doesn't relate specifically to the album, but hear me out! :D I painted my nails like this a while back to celebrate the release of MX - I think right after their SNL performance. I had been planning to do it for a while. Plus, it was so cool to look at and I never wanted to take it off! :laugh4: And I love Coldplay so why not? :P The colors remind me of Mylo Xyloto but the splatters remind me somewhat of the Viva paintings. I have a nail-polish related blog where I did a post as well as tutorial on my Mylo Xyloto/Graffiti manicure. Surprisingly it wasn't hard, it just took a lot of patience. I'll post a link if anyone's interested. I'm planning to do something similar to this when I see them live in August. Oh yeah... Actually I don't, I don't live in a real "public transportation" kind of town. Our extent is a senior citizen bus, and of course the trains that go to Grand Central Station. I'd imagine the bus/train to a Coldplay concert would be loads of fun though. I feel like it'd be a big singalong with tons of Coldplay fans decked out in rainbow colors - maybe something like the Charlie Brown video? :laugh3: Yeah I don't know. We're driving :rolleyes:
