Best Ever Guitar Riffs
I don't get it. A lot of people I know enjoy going to guitar shops just to play the guitars and show off, with no intention of buying them, but I hate it. Don't get me wrong, I love playing guitar as much as many other people, perhaps even more. But I just can't sit in a guitar shop and play a guitar for more than 10 minutes unless I'm there to buy it. It doesn't matter if I'm playing a Telecaster through a Fender Twin or something, I just get bored of it all very quickly. Might as well stay at home - at least there I won't get the piss taken out of me by the shop staff. anyway, rant over, now here are some super-duper cool riffs: The Beatles - I Want To Tell You The Beatles - I Feel Fine The Beatles - Come Together The Beatles - Day Tripper The Beatles - Paperback Writer Radiohead - Paranoid Android Radiohead - I Might Be Wrong Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Six Barrel Shotgun The Stone Roses - Fool's Gold The Stone Roses - Sally Cinnamon Jeff Buckley - What Will You Say? Beck - Loser Beck - Devil's Haircut I could go on all day listing Beatles riffs

The Simpsons
Agreed. I think the worst case I've ever seen is "Saddlesore Galactica": - Bart and Homer find a horse at a county fair - they take it home - they discover it's a fast runner - they take it horseracing (with Bart as the jockey) - they give it a makeover to make it look "bad-ass" - it starts winning all the races by knocking horses off the course - Homer gets kidnapped by jockeys and taken to their secret hideout - they threaten to kill him unless the horse stops sabotaging races - there's a showdown between Bart, Homer, their horse, and a dozen blood-thirsty jockeys  After that one, I simply refuse to watch a new episode of The Simpsons. I don't know how people can watch it now and still find it funny.

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory 6/10 Johnny Depp was as brilliant as ever. But on the whole, the original one was much better. This one was too blatantly aimed towards kids. I know it's a kid's book, but the first film had a little more adult appeal. Still, there were a couple of adult jokes (like the '2001: A Space Odyssey' reference. I couldn't imagine many kids getting that). And the new Oompa Loompas are shit, and so are their songs. They should've stuck with orange midgets with green hair singing "Oompa Loompa Doompadee Doo" instead of some Indian guy singing gay disco songs. Apparently (so I've heard), Roald Dahl didn't like the original film because it wasn't dark enough. In that case, he would've HATED Tim Burton's version.- Best Male and Female voices

Any of these: I could write a song a hundred miles long That's where I belong and you belong with me I could write it down or spread it all around Get lost and then get found, or swallowed in the sea --Swallowed In The Sea What if you should decide That you don't want me there by your side? That you don't want me there in your life? --What If When you love someone but it goes to waste Could it be worse? --Fix You All you ever wanted to be Living in perfect symmetry Nothing is as down or as up as us --Low- How has Coldplay changed our way of thinking of music?

My ISP is indeed NTL. Can't be arsed to set up an "elite proxy" or whatever. I'm not that desperate for piano music, I'll just figure it out myself. I'll just cut my losses and shake my fist in rage at NTL instead *shakes fist in rage* Oh well, thanks anyway.- [Downloads] Coldplay piano sheet music links
"This IP... is not allowed to use the free-service anymore today. We detected very extreme downloads" I get this every time I try to download off RapidShare... Any chance someone could upload the 'Fix You' sheet music somewhere else for me?- Lets Complain About Movies We Hate...
^ I thought Deep Impact was quite good actually. A little more dramatic and a tiny little bit more realistic. I mean yeah, it's still completely over the top, but at least it's more realistic than Armageddon: "An asteroid's gonna hit in 2 weeks? Surely we should've noticed it sooner? Oh well, fuck using the intensely well-trained and qualified astronauts - Let's train up a bunch of redneck oil-riggers as astronauts in a week, and then send them into space to save the planet. What could go wrong... Apart from the end of mankind?" Fucking daft film.- How To Start Your Own Country
It's not quite the same thing. It's an "experiment" if you like by this comedian who wants to find out what he needs to do to start his own country. It's actually really funny - he first tried to buy a castle, then he invaded an island on the River Thames, then he tried to ally with the British Army and suggested that they take France. Now he's set up his country in his flat in London, held a press conference about it, and sent his Declaration of Independence to Tony Blair. He even got an Ordnance Survey map done of his flat. All done quite tongue-in-cheek. Very funny stuff.- Are you still listening to RADIOHEAD?
I listen to Radiohead every day, and at least several times a day Radiohead are one of only two bands (with The Beatles) that I never, ever get bored of. For me, they're the best band in the world ever.- Opinions on Fix You Video?
