The 5th Element !!
The first few times I saw this film, I hated it. But I watched it again last night and I loved it. Luc Besson really knows how to write an epic story. Gary Oldman is absolutely brilliant. I'd say this is the perhaps 2nd best action film I've seen (the best action film would be Leon, also by Luc Besson).

So where do you stand in the political world?
Economic Left/Right: -4.75 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.26 So according to this I'm a Left Wing Libertarian, which I'd say is surprisingly accurate

Favourite Glastonbury '04 act
Muse may have been excellent, but Paul McCartney was better in my books.

At the moment I'm listening to an instrumental I wrote and recorded yesterday, which has no title yet.

   "Taylor Hanson's a guy" "Ha ha! You guys are just yankin' me. Hey, let's pull one over on old Quagmire!" "No, he's actually a guy, Quagmire" "But... but that's insane! That's impossible! Oh, God! I've got all these magazines and... oh GOD!"

Coldplay The Mars Volta Muse U2 Paul McCartney- The Jeff Buckley appreciation thread (November 17, 1966 - May 29th , 1997)
I never really thought of him as a Christian. If he is, then I couldn't imagine him being a particularly good or dedicated one.- The Oasis Thread
I just downloaded the new song "A Bell Will Ring" from the link that fifi posted, and I absolutely love it. "Meaning Of Soul" isn't quite as good, but still pretty okay. Can't really hear it very well though.- The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
it's the best live performance I've seen from them. but one of the best ever Glastonbury sets? Not sure I agree on that. I think the best performance I've seen of the weekend was Paul McCartney. Now that really was one of the best Glastonbury sets I've ever heard.- The Oasis Thread
I missed it on TV (I was in the pub), but I've download the first two mp3's now, and... to be honest, I have to say so I'm not impressed so far. From just listening to it, it seems like they're just not bothered about performing anymore, and they get no enjoyment out of playing a gig. As much as I love Oasis (and I do), I think their last great gig was at Finsbury Park 2 years ago (I was there on the Saturday and it was great). Even then, it wasn't anywhere near as good as any of their gigs before 2000 (compare their Wembley Stadium gig to Maine Road or Knebworth Park). They've really gone downhill over the last few years - the songs are as great as ever, but the way they play on stage is dull and lifeless nowadays. Anyway, I'll download the rest of the gig. Hopefully they redeemed themselves as the set went on.- The Oasis Thread
cheers Thom. I've been looking for these MP3s since Saturday- 10 songs on your playlist

IRONBOX: Mr Griffin, I'm Gloria Ironbox from the Women's Rights Institute. I represent your one of your co-workers, Sarah. PETER: Sarah... Sarah... oh, is she the one we videotaped taking a dump?- WICH CARTOON IS THE MOST COOLEST?
It's a cartoon, very similar in concept to The Simpsons. In fact, a lot of people claim it's a Simpsons rip-off, but there are some big differences it's aimed towards adults, whereas The Simpsons is aimed at pretty much everyone. It's much more surreal (e.g. the family dog can talk) and the jokes are a bit more off-the-wall and rediculous. http://www.planet-familyguy.com will tell you everything there is to know about the show- Lyrics
Radiohead - True Love Waits I'll drown my beliefs to have you be at peace I'll dress like your niece and wash your swollen feet Just don't leave Don't leave I'm not living, I'm just killing time Your tiny hands, your crazy kitten smile Just don't leave Don't leave And true love waits in haunted attics And true love lives on lollipops and crisps Just don't leave Don't leave Don't leave Don't leave- 10 songs on your playlist
