Yeah Have you ever seen snow?
  2. Ah yes, what a night this was! Take me back!

I have actually! I was in Tokyo Easter last year and I went then. You don't get anything like them anywhere else in the world! Have you ever been to a music festival abroad?

Christmas Lights is probably my favourite, followed by Atlas and Miracles.
  5. Nice item you have there. I'm interested in it, but I'll wait until tomorrow to see what the price is on the auction.
  6. Random guess :P In all seriousness though, looking back at the GS era, after the 1st hints, the details came quite quickly. I'm thinking that it won't be long until more details come out for this album.
  7. Hmmm... sounds.... interesting. Looks like we're in for something baring some resemblance to to MX, which is not really surprising to be honest. This was always going to be a more poppy, uptempo album. More of a bombastic stadium sound. Going to make a prediction here: We'll learn that the album will be released on September 18th on June 12th.
  8. Cardiff, Wales Pretty much changes on a constant basis. For this, I'll go Charlie Brown.

  10. http://www.nme.com/news/glastonbury/84852?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=glastonbury Emily Eavis addresses rumours of two acts headlining Sunday night of Glastonbury Her father Michael Eavis had previously hinted that the headline act would consists of two artists combined Emily Eavis addresses rumours of two acts headlining Sunday night of Glastonbury Photo: GettyGlastonbury Festival organiser Emily Eavis has clarified matters over recent reports regarding the upcoming last headliner announcement. Michael Eavis recently hinted that the identity of the final Glastonbury headliner will be revealed on June 1, also appearing to imply that the headliner for the Sunday leg would be composed of two artists, rather than one. He also added that they will "most likely" be British and that Coldplay's Chris Martin may be involved. Now, however, Emily Eavis has addressed her father's comments via Twitter. Responding to a fan who asked "any truth to the rumours of a Sunday night charity super group arranged by Chris Martin?", Eavis replied: "ah,don't get confused by the two bands together story! We are announcing one band as headliner but a great penultimate too". However, Eavis did not deny that Chris Martin would be involved. There has been constant speculation over the identity of the artist joining Foo Fighters and Kanye West in headlining this year’s festival. Coldplay are 3/1 favourites with bookmakers William Hill, though Emily Eavis has previously ruled them out of playing. Muse and AC/DC have concerts elsewhere on June 28, so will not be the final headliner. Other artists confirmed as performing at Glastonbury include Alt-J , Florence And The Machine, The Maccabees, Suede, Jamie T, The Chemical Brothers, Alabama Shakes, Jungle, FKA Twigs,Catfish And The Bottlemen, Belle & Sebastian, The Vaccines, Super Furry Animals, Patti Smith, Hot Chip, Run The Jewels, Future Islands, Charli XCX, Peace and Circa Waves.
  11. These rumours just won't go away will they! Looking at the odds, I'd probably put my money on Muse at 16/1 (Stunned the odds are so long for them!). Doubt it will be Coldplay though. Possibly for 2016, but not this year.
  12. Really don't think they've thought this Tidal thing properly. Here are a few problems I've come up with: 1. Why would people part with $20 a month ($240 a year) for the most expensive service of its kind which is run by a group with a combined wealth running into multiple billions of dollars whilst their main rival Spotify charges half of that? From the outside looking in, it looks like these artists are getting greedy. 2. Why are they short-changing the UK market? They're charging £20 a month in the UK which is the equivalent of $29.50. In other words, this service costs nearly 50% more than it does in America! A yearly subscription therefore costs £240/$355 a year, which is a huge amount of money! Spotify does exactly the same thing as well which I don't get. It doesn't cost any extra to provide the same service in the UK, so why charge significantly more!!! 3. Does the USP of hi-quality music really warrant £10/$10 extra? Not really. 4. I looked at most of the 'owners'' Spotify profiles and all of the ones I looked at had their entire music catalogue on there. You would have at least expected them to take their music off Spotify wouldn't you? Especially Jay-Z. So, in short, the combined wealth of the owners runs into multiple billions of dollars (IE. They are set for life, and they've set their children and their children, and almost certainly their children as well, up for life so they don't really need any more money), they are charging double the price of their main rivals, where I can still get all of the owners' music, the only USP over Spotify is a higher quality sound and they are also short-changing UK consumers (and probably consumers in many other countries) Sorry Chris, but just because you're endorsing this, it doesn't mean that I'm going to buy it. There is still the standard $10/£10 version, but given that this is exactly the same as Spotify, it's going to be tough for them to get subscriptions, even with the superstar endorsements.
  13. There are two places I'd love to see Coldplay play on the next tour: 1.) Wembley Stadium (IT'S WEMBLEY FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!) 2.) Millennium Stadium, Cardiff: I'm stunned Coldplay haven't played here before. It's one hell of a stadium with 75k seats slap bang in the city centre. Would be absolutely incredible (especially with the roof on). A warm-up gig in my back garden would also be appreciated, but I'll be satisfied with the Millennium!
  14. Saw him at the Brits a few weeks ago and he sounded terrible. Fortunately, I only had to sit through one song of his. Really surprised Glastonbury booked him though. As the eFestivals guy said, he goes completely against the ethos of Glastonbury and what Glastonbury is all about. He'd be perfect for Wireless, but not Glasto.
  15. They've announced an intimate UK tour starting next week. Nothing bar festivals elsewhere yet. Psycho UK Tour Dates: Belfast Ulster Hall (March 15) Glasgow Barrowlands (16) Newport Centre (19) Exeter Great Hall (20) Manchester Academy (22) Brighton Dome (23) New album is out June 8th
  16. Love Imagine Dragons, really looking forward to this album. Hope to see them on their tour, but I can't get tickets until I know where I end up for Uni, which won't be until August. Night Visions was a great album, just hope this lives up to that.
  17. They almost certainly won't perform as they normally have 8 acts and there are 8 acts confirmed to be performing, and Coldplay aren't one of them. As for the award, 1D will probably win it.
  18. Sounds as if he accepted them as his daughters wanted to go.
  19. Going to be between Coldplay and 1D imo, possibly Royal Blood since they are up for Best Album too. I wouldn't say this award is a forgone conclusion though. This is voted by critics so you never know. Saying that, the Brits were all over 1D last year. Anyway, I'm going to the Brits this year! Looking forward to this.

  23. And an extremely ridiculously belated welcome to Coldplaying to you!
  24. A fair bit happened in December (AHFOD, Munich, Miracles, BBC R2 Show, BBC Music Awards, NRJ and Grammy Nominations) and since that's fresh in my mind, I'll be happy to take that?
