The idea came from some threads where some coldplayers share what they like or dislike from the band. In this case the title says everything. Just share what you like about each album Coldplay has released.

Believe or not but indeed there is, crazy right? I remember something like allplayer or goldplayer, don't trust me. If there is a term I'm part of that sub-fandom lol :D

I guess it is related with fans who like Coldplay's resent albums. But I think it's ridiculous to rename a fandom. All of us love Coldplay and that's we are here, if that wasn't the case we wouldn't be writing our opinions in a Coldplay forum.

Perhaps that's why you're called a "newplayer" lol. It's better to look at the future, live the present and learn from the past. I guess that's what Coldplay is trying to do. Because any time they're asked if this is their last album they don't know what to say. They're just happy with the things they are doing. If they get awards it's just a plus.

It's not about quality. It's finding what makes you happy even when it's ridiculous!

And I agree with both of you. I find difficult to choose my favorite Coldplay album. I think I can choose my least favorite one which I think is Parachutes but sometimes I feel like it's unfair to say it because there isn't anything wrong about it. Each album represent different emotions that lead me to a specific moment in my life at the same time it represents a group of 5 friends working on what they love. That's why I choose to follow this band even when Guy hates "talk" lol

I love the movie a Christmas Carol and Jack Frost which I haven't seen in recent years. I think it's a little bit sad but I love the story.

I Ran Away is also a great song. It'll be so difficult to choose just one among those gems waiting to be played!

I'll say Prospekt's March. It's a great song and even though we have footage of them playing it on rehearsals it could be great to hear it in the actual concert. Plus is one of my favorite songs from the Viva era!

Great to read that! Christmas time is on your side, nothing like a good Christmas movie to get in the Christmas mood! I've heard a lot of carols but I'm missing the movies. And I just realized that this weekend we start the Christmas break in Mexico! I need a good rest to enjoy my family!

I'm not in the USA but I think I'll watch it on the weekend, I haven't seen it in years!

I won't answer to it because each album is different but what caught my attention is the relation between round 1, 8 and 9. I think they have similar messages in terms of how Chris see the world when he was younger and now that he's almost 40. Especially We Never Change and Amazing Day have the idea of how someone wanted life in the past and how it's lived now. I believe this is part of the cycle Chris has been talking about.

stop comparing Coldplay and Maroon 5. I listen to both bands and in no way they are similar. Chris may write simple lyrics, but there's meaning behind those lyrics, there is passion in their performances, Coldplay share their feelings with their fans. If we don't like that it's our problem because they don't mind.

In the same way some are saying there isn't comparison between Coldplay and U2 I'll say there isn't comparison between one direction fans and the way I look up at Coldplay. If I say I love this band is because of the way they see life. There are a lot of harmful things around us that I can't understand and if there are people saying there is something good among all those awful things I'll believe them because I believe that too. I feel blessed for what I have and I haven't had the perfect life and I'm sure nobody has it. But the way we see life we'll make a difference. I'll always respect Coldplay for sharing hope through their music. Because, behind those woo-hoos I can see the happiness and joy that can't be described with words (Chris has explained that in some interviews). Ps. My favorite football team (soccer if you're in the USA) is a failure in resent tournaments and I'm not saying them what they should do. And even when they are playing so bad I'll respect its history and I won't support any other team because that would be disloyal.

I agree that there isn't any explanation or interview with Pilar. But I think some of those cut outs relate with some of the lyrics. Chris talk about the moon, the universe, birds, pyramids, I can't remember exactly the songs where he mentions those words but the title Kaleidoscope is reflected on the artwork. Hope they explain it soon, so we don't start trying to guess the meaning behind it.
