The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
it doesn't have clips of Glastonbury, I'm pretty sure, and it looks rubbish comsidering what they could have released. http://play.com/play247.asp?pa=srmr&page=title&r=R2M&title=843036 This is the setlist: 1. Hysteria 2. New Born 3. Sing For Absolution 4. Muscle Museum 5. Apocalypse Please 6. Ruled By Secrecy 7. Sunburn 8. Butterflies and Hurricanes 9. Bliss 10. Time Is Running Out 11. Plug In Baby 12. Blackout Why? Twelve songs? That's pitiful. There are a few songs as 'bonuses' but what would be wrong with releaseing one show in full? I know they've recorded a few over the tour. I'm afraid 12(/16) songs, from various locations, is a big let down compared to the Hullabaloo DVD.

the slower songs are quite well done, the upbeat ones switch cameras every two seconds, if that, which means there's rarely a decent shot to appreciate.

I .......... have a problem
Stay away. You know the way tigers look good, but you really don't want to own one, unless it's very securely locked away. Of course, they take a lot of feeding too, but I'm beginning to get off topic. If you wish to know more about tiger ownership, I'm not your man. Either way, you can tell the woman on the front is not listening to the album in question as, if she was, her hands would be over her ears, rather than cupping them.

Yes it's come to this...Which is the Worst Album?
X&Y is the worst of the three, but there's plenty worse out there, so it's not that I don't like it.

I wish you were, I think I'm the only Coldplay fan that can't stand it.

Best Song Number #5??
Clocks, easily.

as Politik is the perfect opener, I spent ages trying to find a song that could precede this for the compilation in my car and finally settled on Don't Panic. If you hadn't said 'album only' though, I would have included Crests Of Waves and One I Love I suspect.

Fix You - video question
combination of material from the 4th and 5th of Jult at Bolton's Reebock Stadium. There's definitely some from the 5th because I've managed to find myself on the railing before, so I don't know how much of it is the 4th.

I was so annoyed at not being able to borrow a digital camera, luckily the asda across the road was selling disposables for £2. Anyhow, this is how close queuing from 8:30am will get you

Rick8, have you heard the recent announcement involving New Zealand as an extension of the tour? Here's a few of my own shots from Manchester back in June, just to show how different the show production was.

Manic Street Preachers
no, I'll upload you a few later

Manic Street Preachers
I'm currently listening to some of the acoustic manics stuff (ie: James on his own) and its so good, I love how songs like Faster and Motown Junk sound acoustically, completely different.

http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22065 < Point Depot 31/12/89, the forth Christmas/New Year show and, in my opinion, the best. Feel free to spread the links about anywhere you want, if you bump up the thread I'll try and add something to it. Some other bits there too, I also uploaded the Hammersmith Odeon '82 in a different thread but can't find it.

LETS DO IT - 4TH SINGLE??
I hope there isn't one. Sorry, 4 singles is always at least 1 too many and I doubt the b-sides will be anything worthwhile by now.
