So one day i was messing around on my StumbleUpon (quite possibly the best thing ever created for the internet) and I came across Haystack. It's like, a social networking site based around finding music. How cool is that?? I started to realize a couple days ago when my ipod was playing in my friend's car that pretty much all my music now comes from being on there. Where do you find new stuff to listen to?

The band i will now tell you about, aren't spring chickens either, they have been about for going on 10 years now and hail from Failsworth Manchester. I was just looking over my list of favourite albums from last year. Almost all of them I don't really listen to anymore. The only ones I still listen to regularily are Sell Control For Life Speed (Pilot Speed), The Eraser(Thom Yorke), and Beck (The Information). Hello Coldplayers, I had this idea last year but never really said it. I was thinking it would be neat if we started up a coldplaying blog for reviewing music. I know last year we sort of had the coldplaying review. But that died out rather quickly, and not too many people contributed. Anyways what I was thinking is we could try to get anywhere from 5-10 "authors" to contribute to the blog. We could come up with a schedule of some sort, and basically you would just have to write a short article once a week. We wouldn't limit it just to album reviews, we could have certain weeks where a question is proposed to our contributors and we all write our opinion on the matter…

Hey guys I picked up the two best of's of these respective bands and im pretty hooked, theres more to brit pop than Oasis and Stereophonics! wow. Anyhow can anyone tell me what they think of the albums of these two very fine bands, out side of the best ofs. With blur I already have Parklife, Leisure and Modern life is rubbish with Pulp I don't have anything.
