I advise you all to listen to these guys free of charge via their website.. these are 4 young lads from the Chicago area.. and they have recently been signed to Capitol Records.. their 2nd album is due out this June.. and I think once you hear them.. you'll be a fan as well. This is something that is pretty cool on another board I'm at... I guess it's also on Livejournal, I thought I'd give it a spin here and see if anyone wanted to do it: 'Directions: on your current playlist, hit shuffle and pick the first ten songs on the list (no matter how cheesy or embarrassing). Anyone else on hear love Spiritualized? I'm listening to "Pure Phase" right now, such an amazing album, Medication, The Slide Song, All of My Tears, These Blues, Let It Flow, Spread Your Wings etc. Genius! So it's the 1st July, and the start of the 2nd half of the year, so what has been your top 3/5/8/10/15/22 (etc) albums of the year so far? Simple rules is that it had to be released between the 1st January and 30th June 2007, and no compilations/re-issues/EPs. Officially released live albums are okay.

The Rumble Strips are an English band from Tavistock, Devon. The band take their name from Rumble Strips, which are small, continuous lines of bumps along the edge of a road. Having known each other since childhood, a precise conception date for the band doesn't really exist. The current line-up has been together since 2004 and are now based in London.
