  6. I recorded Yellow (my attempt at the KCRW radio version) A Message, Fix You, The Scientist. I also did some The Killers, Keane, Oasis, Imogen Heap, The Fray, Travis and Thirteen Senses videos if any of you listen to them. I tried doing all of these by ear, so sorry if they're crap. My first few videos were done when my piano was offtune as well. I was also using a Canon Powershot for these. Just want some comments from some Coldplay fans. Feel free to comment on the videos if you have a YouTube account. Edit: I have removed most of my videos because I only meant to leave them up until the end of summer. So if anyone stumbles upon this thread and finds that there ar…

You noticed to that sound like don't panic everything not lost . First i thought hist jerry donahue made this sound. But now i think he just uses his was wah pedal for that sound. I have exactely his wah ( discontinued serie). And with the knob turned 2 clicks to the bass side it sound like his sound.

I'v recent asked improvisation about the reverb in the jonny sound but he doesn't uses alot of reverb like the standard on your amp. But when i listen to the anno 2006 live version of don't panic and things It sounds so reverbed. I mean his sound sounds so full . With my effects my guitar sound to dry. Or is it the line 6 modeler that mades the HUGE diference? I've got an boss delay pedal also.

i have seen tabs that have the b string tuned to an H. how is this possible? i don't know too much about music theory...

  11. Started by Corner Kid,

Does anyone use these? I experiment with them all the time, Here are the ones I'm using currently... 654321 DADAAE (beware, tuning the G up to an A is very risky. I have my guitar tuned down a half a step(EbAbDbGbBbE), then I tune up to DbAbDbAbAbEb) and a capo on the 1st fret takes it right up to DADAAE.) CACGBE (This is the one I'm currently experimenting a lot with) post any alternate tunings you experiment with.

What is that device Johnny uses in the 2003 Live DVD during See you soon? I think it's a glass piece in the left hand and a black one in the other...what is that?An e-bow??And how does it work?? Thank you in advance.

Mexican or japanese? I'm gonna buy a new '72 thinline tele (Guitar Jonny uses most) I probably can't afford american-made- so it's either mexican or japanese made. So which country's one is better?

  14. So I was at work last night, and we have live entertainment every night (I work as a dishwasher at an irish pub), and I heard a guitar that sounds almost exactly like the guitar chris used (main strumming rhythm (sp?)). They had an acoustic and an electric out, and I think a second acoustic as well. The electric definitely wasn't a telecaster. So did Chris use an acoustic during the Brixton Academy performance? Also, completely off the record, was he sick during that concert?

Er, sorry you have to deal with my mediocre sing voice, but I made this little cover of sparks, hehe. And, I'm a girl, and it's kinda hard to sing as low as Chris, hehe. (and as high... for that matter) http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=AB3C195569942C9C http://rapidshare.de/files/29951806/cap1.mp3.html Friggin' file glitches a bit when I say "I promise you this" stupid. I'm gonna try to make a video cover too... edit: oh yeah, I forgot to mention I just learned how to play this song today in less than an hour, haha.

Well I was playing the piano, or exally playing the guitar, with my song Can't get you out of my head. And after that song, a ladder to the sun came. I went to my piano, and figured the chords out =) It's very very simple ! It's only C - Am, the chorus and the couplets. The bridge is.. F and then the same =) I guess F - Am and otherwise the C, i have to play it first again but well that the song ! Couplet : C- Am x1000 (or something :p) Chorus : C - Am x100 (or something) Bridge : F- C (or F - Am) you can figure it out by yourself =) Ending : ( You're a ladder to the, a ladder to the..) C - Am (just repeat it) Good luck i hope it's correct…
