The Lounge

I live in SUI since middle of October,so my german isn't the best,that's why i don't read newspapers or watch/listen to german/swiss tv/radio.When i lived in RUS and HUN,i used to read newspapers a lot.Now and here my information source is the internet,i try go get fresh news from russian,hungarian or sometimes english portals.Thanks to modern technology we can read news in the internet wherever and whenever we want,but a lot of people still prefer read fresh newspaper during their breakfast... How do you get informed?

Dont you hate it when you feel like your living your life just to have material things that wont matter in the end cos we all are gonna die anyways? You study, work and keep that routine just to have money and then you die, it fucking sucks! i mean, it doesnt matter in the end cos when you die all you have is your body in a suit buried and in a coffin and that's it. Dont know why i'm saying this but i hate some people that think money is everything, sure it is important sometimes but its like they dont care about simple things in life, like just the fact of being alive and experiment diff feelings such love, hate,etc Dont know,it really annoys me when some 'rich' peop…

If you have worked for a company for 5 years... can you take time out on unpaid leave to go travelling... I am looking to take 3 months unpaid. But I am unsure if my employers would allow me to this... Does anyone know about this ???

Well i just found out that were cancelling the cable and were broke. We have had to spend so much on medical bills that we didnt even have any extra money for fast food for dinner today. Apparently through the tens of thousands spent on me, my mom and dad for medical stuff. This is gonna suck.

Well.....in Germany there is the new TV show "Germany's next top model" hosted by Heidi Klum.....this show unleashed a controversal discussion here in Germany....because they tell mayn girl they are too big/fat although they are soooooo skinny.....many people critisize this here.....even the candidats of pop idol.....now the newspapers are full of those discussins.......I think those shows are stupid......superficial.....and I think the girls there get psychological problems after it and during they take part in it......what do you think?About this discussion and the topic in general?

how important is it for you? how far you want to go? college,university,PhD? or you want(ed) to earn money as ealy as possible? in my opinion the education is very important.if you have a good one you won't face huge problems if you lose your job.i know a man who worked for the same company for 20 years.he lost that job last year and now he has big problems to find a job again.he finished his education very early when he was 20,i think he was too lazy to continue and go to uni for example.now he really doesn't know what to do. another point is that you don't need to have a high education is some jobs,only some basic knowledges,so in my opinion there's always few …

Well......I know there was once a thread similar to this one....but I don't know if it was the same...... Ok....what do you think.....you know technics develop and develop......there seems to be no end.......but what?Do you think there will be an end one day and it will re-develop?Or do you think it will continue.......hehe.....who knows maybe in some 1000 years we are back in stone age!
