Any The Police fan has given a listen to Sting's son band Fiction Plane?

I did some time ago, and they are pretty good :) (remind me a lot to The Police)

I think they have a thread on the wom section.

I didnt mind Fiction Plane, nothing special though. And in no way as good as his dad, or The Police.

 

Kind of a Travis/Elbow type band.

Heard these guys. Joe Sumner has a real likeness to his dad. Quite similar singing voices.

This was a heck of a bump. I absolutely love the Police. Sychronicity and Zenyatta Mondatta are two of my favorite albums. I am a huge fan of Stewart Copeland's drumming. His style is so uniquely his own.

Copeland is the BEST drummer of all time. Unique, innovative and intelligent. And yeah Synchronicity is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Every Breath You Take, Wrapped Around Your Finger, King of Pain, Synchronicity 1 and 2 and more = WOW!

 

Also Andy Summers is one hellishly underrated guitarist.
