Digital Cameras

Featured Replies

Thinking about getting one, what should I be looking for and if you have one which make/model is it. Ideas people, ideas :sneaky: :)

good focusing and zooming functions and a good pixel rate in my esteemed opinion  :P

i have one but it's hard to use because it always comes out dark.

it's an Olympus something or other.

but i'm sure you could program it to make it brighter.

look at mega pixels!

try getting 4 or up..

also, digital zooms suck! analogics are the best...

uhm, what else..

oh :idea2: , cameras that work with regular batteries, like the ones in portable cd players, die-out really fast!

i have a Pentax 3.2 mega pixels. It´s good, but higher pixels are better.

i have Konica Revio something with 4 megapixels. it's okay i think.

Yah, I've been looking to get one too, mostly just to sneak into concerts and get really good close up pictures and movies.

Sony or Canon are the way to go.

Sony's P, V and W series are great, as are Canon's Powershots.

you could always just buy a camcorder and use that as a camera, thats what i'm doing and also its better because you have more features

Yep I agree with Kyle that Sony is the brand for digi cams.

actually, no. ;) its all about the lenses. Thats why Sony rules. They're the only company that has Carl-Zeiss lenses on their cameras. If you talk to anyone with a digital SLR (like randy from the official board), he'll say that the lens is the most important part.

Yeap.. Mine´s tiny... Size of 2 1/2 matchboxes :)

I got a pretty cool digi cam/video/mp3 combo for only 400euros which is trés cheap! :stunned: It's an mxjvc8000 and I got a 240mb chip free with it aswell as the one that was in it :stunned: :idea2:

gosh...this is totally timely topic! (wow...what alliteration, when i wasn't even aiming for it! lmao)

i need to have a recommendation for a digi cam for my sister (she's the one with lots of money and she wants to buy one! ) lol....so this is gonna help.

egghead's recommendation looks good, btw!

I want a digital camera, I would take pictures of EVERYTHING, well experiences and such festivals etc... The prices are coming down here so yeah soon enough
