August 28, 200916 yr My hockey team acquired THREE defensemen today. Now we have EIGHT NHL calibre defensemen. THAT IS A BIT MUCH. IS THERE A TTRRRADEEE LOOMING? DUN DUN DUN EH EH EH.
August 28, 200916 yr Iced Cappucinos are a tradition with friends, when we go out :D Iced Cappuccinos RULE
August 29, 200916 yr What hockey team are you talking about? I don't follow the sport news that much these days, all I know is that Kovalev's gone with Ottawa :veryangry2: Iced Cappuccinos RULE Oh hell yeah. High five, mate.
August 29, 200916 yr What hockey team are you talking about? I don't follow the sport news that much these days, all I know is that Kovalev's gone with Ottawa :veryangry2: The Canucks. And yeah... that's because Montreal was stupid to let him go.
August 29, 200916 yr Agreed. But on the other hand, they promised him one million bucks more.. you know, that is quite useful if you wanna attract and convince a player.
August 30, 200916 yr here we go! I guess it was inevitable that this thread would morph into "Coach's Corner".
August 31, 200916 yr Canucks I feel don't have too much firepower to do that well, and this Luongo drama has to end if he's going to perform well enough. Sens are in trouble with two madonna's on their team (Kovalev and Heatly), can't see them being too productive, so I see another year of pain.... go leafs go, now that's a big blue line! :) :P and well i was up at my cottage this weekend, so i was riding Moose eh?
August 31, 200916 yr ^Lol, that is delusional. Canucks are very deep in terms of goaltending and defense. Forwards, we could use a couple more pieces. But if we could pull of some sort of trade (which we might have to), we'd be sitting pretty enough. Better than the Leafs anyhow. :P
August 31, 200916 yr ^agreed with the Canucks thing. Agreed with teh drama queens thing too, but on the other, Kovalev can play pretty good when he really wants to. He's saved the game a couple of times with the Canadians before. boooo Maple Leafs :P Moose? Really. How was he doing? :P
August 31, 200916 yr I love the diva-ness of Kovalev. Heatley... not so much. I don't mind him asking for a trade, I just never liked him. But maybe he'll get dealt anyway. Anyways, yeahhh Canucks.
August 31, 200916 yr well I think the Canucks can be better, but the Sedin's can't do it all. better goalie than the leafs that's for sure. but the Leaf's D is getting better with time, Schenn is better, Kaberle, and now they added the roughness in Komisarek and Exelby and a vertain in Bouchemen. or whatever! :P and Kovalev will only play when he wants to, which is the problem, he'll play when it's his show, which it won't be in Ottawa and the Moose were good, hoser, eh?
August 31, 200916 yr Yeah, we need some help on forward. I want Mats back to be honest. But I don't think we can do it with the salary cap. Didn't Kovalev mention that he might retire as a Canadian? Yeah, he said he wanted to stay in Montreal, and wants to retite there. Stupid Habs. Kovy
August 31, 200916 yr yeah doubt it, he'll want to be named captain and Canadian god, with his name in his rafters the season after he retires.
August 31, 200916 yr Lol. not a bad player but I don't like him THAT much. Stupid Habs. Whaaat?!?!?!?! :stunned:
