Yep. They have quite a different accent and they use expressions that Quebeckers don't and vice-versa. But if you speak French (I guess you have french classes, no?) you'll be able to understand them as much as you understand quebeckers.

Yeah, we learn actual French French in our class, and apparently if we went to Quebec it would be almost impossible to understand anyone :P
