COLDPLAY star Chris Martin cheated death when his plane hit a dust storm as it tried to land at a remote African airstrip, The Sun can reveal.

 

The 27-year-old singer, in Africa to publicise fair trade issues, told how his life flashed before his eyes as the pilot wrestled with the controls.

 

Last night Chris, who has an eight-month-old daughter, Apple, with actress wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 32, revealed: “It was so terrifying. The plane was all over the place.
