April 26, 200719 yr Here you go: http://www.sendspace.com/file/n72q63 :) ... post links in World of Music to music that infringes copyrights. Please use your common sense, this site isn't immune to the music police! If you see links while browsing its in yours (and the site's) interests to report that post. Thanks Ian Hate to be a bitch but we don't want this forum to get in trouble with the music police.
April 26, 200719 yr Yeah I find the singer sounds just like Keane. Makes me appreciate Keane a little less hahaha.
April 27, 200719 yr I’m really sorry. :( I’m the one who was asking for the upload and invisibleman18 was just fulfilling it. I never meant to do any harm to this site. I apologize.
April 27, 200719 yr Very sorry, I didn't realise I shouldn't post the link in here. Post edited, and you can find the link where it belongs. It takes no longer than 25 seconds for someone to register and then see the section where it belongs anyway so unfortunately it is inevitable that will one day happen. Has done on every other similar forum I've been on.
April 27, 200719 yr ^ Don't feel bad. I'm guilty of posting stuff in the past ;) We all learn from our mistakes, right? :) Thanks.
April 27, 200719 yr Ian just put the notice up last week. The easiest thing to do is to put links up in the multimedia sections of the forum. And back to talking about Travis. :) I think that The Boy With No Name is definitely one of the best albums I have heard yet this year.
April 27, 200719 yr I must say I agree that TBWNN is one of the best album this year, although it's still April. :) @ Marek : You have bought the album? Isn't it released in May? Or you pre-order it?

April 28, 200719 yr My top 5 would have to be: 1. Arcade Fire - Neon Bible 2. Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank 3. Favourite Worst Nightmare - Arctic Monkeys 4. Travis - Boy With No Name 5. The Shins - Wincing the Night Away

May 4, 200719 yr TRAVIS: THE BOY WITH NO NAME The new album, released on May 7th in the UK and May 8th in the US. 2 Bonus tracks... Sailing away and UNDER THE MOONLIGHT??? :)
May 4, 200719 yr No, from what I can see, Under the Moonlight is just a regular album track. It seems it was originally not included on the album track list, but at the last minute was included, so it's just a regular album track. It's hard to know whether Sailing Away is a 'hidden track' appearing on all versions or is a bonus track. Play.com shows the tracklisting as this: 01. 3 Times and You Lose 02. Selfish Jean 03. Closer 04. Big Chair 05. Battleships 06. Eyes Wide Open 07. My Eyes 08. One Night 09. Under the Moonlight 10. Out in Space 11. Colder 12. New Amsterdam 13. Sailing Away (Hidden Track) 14. Perfect Heaven Space (UK Bonus Track) While HMV have Perfect Heaven Space as track 1 instead of 14. So it's clear that Perfect Heaven Space which we have not heard yet is a UK bonus track. It's still unclear about Sailing Away though. That just says Hidden track, but as there are supposed to be 2 UK bonus tracks, that could be it. Or there could be another one that we have not heard of yet. The only thing that is clear I think is that Under the Moonlight is an album track and is definitely not a bonus track. I guess we won't find out for sure until it's actually released next week. And those of us not in the UK will have to rely on someone who gets the UK version to provide us with the bonus tracks :)
May 4, 200719 yr Travis - The Boy With No Name (Independiente) TRAVIS' one-time ubiquity had us thinking of them as pop's sliced white bread or Ford Mondeo - the dull but efficient default consumer choice. Chris Martin's admission that Travis all but "invented" Coldplay gives us yet another reason to dislike Fran Healey's merry men. But over three years on from Travis's last album, absence has made the heart grow fonder. There is a fresh, uncomplicated appeal to this set of songs, and a traditional craftsmanship to their conception. The pining melody and backing vocals of Closer are pure 1960s pop. Selfish Jean is a bit of a Motown pastiche. 3 Times And You Lose even has a flavour of Simon and Garfunkel. There are disarmingly simple songs like My Eyes and Out In Space, the latter seemingly drawn from Bert Weedon's Play In A Day guitar tutor. Travis now describes the last album 12 Memories as "a therapy session", and there does seem to be a sense of renewal about The Boy With No Name. By the way, that mysterious title has a mundane explanation: Healey and his wife could not settle on a name for their son Clay for several weeks. Released on May 7. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/entertainment/music/album_reviews/s/1006/1006131_travis__the_boy_with_no_name_independiente.html
May 4, 200719 yr The album's released in the Netherlands today. I've ordered my copy @ HMV though, but I could check whether Under The Moonlight is actually included on the actual album sleeve today or tomorrow :)
