I went to see them tonight. What an amazing show!!!! Possibly my favourite occasion seeing them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They played the one rare song (in a second encore, because we were shouting for it so much) that I have been DESPARATE to hear! It was just crazy hearing it live. :)

It was Kentish Town Forum.......perfect size venue.. front row. AWESOME.

Oh my God.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaand I saw them again this evening....in the Regent Street Apple Store, London! It was very strange, in the lecture area of the store. There were 3 rows of seats in front of the stage, it was weird!!! Kele jumped around on the seats during Flux, I think it was. Hilarious!

 

Awesome, awesome gig. I thought that because it was in such a corporate enviroment it wouldn't be that good, but it was REALLY REALLY REALLY intimate and good. LOVE!!!!

Although there have only been a handful of dates announced so far.

I think "Intimacy" is the current aspirant for my personal best record of 2008.

 

I can't stop listening to their new songs and I think all of them are amazing and quite unique. My only no-go is still Mercury, but I think this will change sooner or later. Biko and Signs are my favourite ones currently. I still don't know why Bloc Party decided not to add Talons on Intimacy, as this is probably the best of all new songs.
