UGH...yeah I remeber there was a fashion here a couple of years ago. Face lift-tight bun, with half a can of hair spray on and then HUGE semi circle fringe with the other half of the hairspray can on. Awful ,awful!

Jersey girl hair I remember it well from the 80's. i think bangs are cool if they sweep to the side on a side part in your head...did that make sence i hope anyway i say go for it! it is only hair girl

I had bangs for a while, the straight across kind, it gives you that indie rockstar look, ok maybe not, but they are cool anyway. I am growing mine out.

depends who its not. myself, i would never get bangs. i know this one girl who got bangs, doesnt fit her AT ALL. then another, she look wonderful with them

arrrggghh!! make me feel old why don't you! was just trying to work out how long it is since I last had a fringe and its nearly 17 years!! Am seriously considering starting again, I think I've almost got over the trauma of the nightmare haircut that went with that fringe, but i won't be doing it before the wedding in case i hate it.

Yep, it's like a fringe. It all depends on your face shape. For some it works, others it doesn't.

I believe I was 10 when I got what I called "THE HAIRCUT FROM HELL". The girl gave me a terribly unflattering hair style and gave me bangs. The bangs didn't look that bad, but it accentuated how off the rest of the hair was. I cried for days.

I guess I have bangs then cos I got my hair cut last week into a full fringe. :huh:
