Since this is the forum for U2 AND Coldplay fans, I'll give this a try... :)

 

I’ve got 4 excellent floor tickets together for Coldplay (Floor Section 1, Row E. seats close to middle section!) in Manchester, NH for 4/3/06.

 

I would like to trade them for 2 really good U2 seats (loge, sections 13-22) for one of the Boston shows 12/4 or 12/5. Dependent on how good the U2 seats are, I would even trade 4 Coldplay for 2 U2 tickets.

 

Are you interested in a trade or can make me a good offer? It would be great if another U2/Coldplay fan had some “leftovers”!

u2 arent idiots, you are obiously very musical iliterate, u2 is propably one of the best bands out there, and i dont know if you have noticed but they have been around for quite a while...crappy bands dont last very much...

If you're going to bash the band, do it in a constructive manner. Using degrading and rough language gets no where. It's fine that you hate the band. It might hurt me, personally, but I'm used to people not caring about my feelings. Believe me. If I had a dime for everytime someone insulted U2 in front of me I'd be in Montreal living it up with them.

 

I wont come in this thread anymore. I will "get the frick out". I just felt the need to state my case. You can have this, but you can stay the frick out of the other U2 thread. :)

 

I'm all for intelligent conversation. I will defend the band to the best of my ability, base my opinions ON FACTS and do it in a mature manner. I will not, however, carry out a conversation with a person who does the exact opposite. This, I can see, will not amount to a conversation so whatever.

 

I wont go off on a diatribe (or have I already?). I wont ask you "so, my friend, what songs have you listened to? What media is filling your radiowaves and ears?". I know you wont understand my side (that U2's music has saved my life on countless occasions this past year). And I wont understand yours.

come on then, how about enlightening us on what music you hold at the opposite end of your personal opinion spectrum? I'm used to U2 fans having a severe disliking of Coldplay but figured the other way round may not work as well so I'm intrigued to know what sort of music you do hold dear.
