Wow, I've NEVER heard that rumor! Hmmmm... Interesting. From what I know U2 has never done a cover of a Coldplay song. I'll look around though.

 

 

New Years Day is one of my favorite songs lately, and I have no idea why. Maybe it's because I'm going through a major bass guitar love affair and the bass line in that is so amazing.

 

Adam has recently inspired me to play the bass, he just makes it seem so friggin' cool. My problem? I have no bass to play with. :lol: At least when Edge inspired me to play the guitar I had one already!

no, that's not true, although I believe they have snippeted a Coldplay song on their last tour, probably Yellow.

I was very disappointed...

U2 comes ones in my life to Switzerland and I'm in France..

Awww man, that sucks... :/ Aw, well they might come back in '06! I've heard some rumors (probably way after the Australian, Latin America, etc etc tour, if at all, but hey I've got my fingers crossed! ;) )

 

I've seen them now a couple times, and will see them a few more before this year's done, but I was still disapointed when I missed them in France. I went on a trip with my school to Paris/Barcelona/Madrid back in July. July 9th is my birthday and they were playing Paris. It figured that we left THAT DAY for Barcelona. That would have been a great bday!!!! :cry: :rolleyes:

Heeey. Be sure to get the U2 DVD coming out tomorrow!! I'm psyched to get my hands on mine, finally!! I've been waiting months for this! I've seen a couple presentations of it (just about 8 song excerpts from the show) on VH1, etc etc and oh man. It's amazing. :heart:

 

U2 will be performing on the Johnny Cash special on Wednesday. I'm not sure exactly what channel this is on.... I'll have to check. I've got my TIVO set for it :lol: I've got my fingers crossed for a presentation of 'The Wanderer'. Bono singing that.... :o

I wasn't a fan of Vertigo until I heard it live. Now that's some fucking rock 'n roll music.

haha, i didnt think it was going to be very good, is it worth the money i dont have at the moment?

the slower songs are quite well done, the upbeat ones switch cameras every two seconds, if that, which means there's rarely a decent shot to appreciate.

I don't know, I enjoyed it. But I'm so biased towards this band they could shit on a plate and I'd still think it'd be the best thing since sliced bread.

 

I guess it depends on if you're a fan of this tour? If you're not then well obviously don't get it. If you've already seen them and you're not going to die if you don't have to witness it over again, then pass. I think it's worth it though. Even the 11 buck one at Target.

 

They should have filmed my Boston show though! I would have been in the whole damn thing!!!!!!! :lol: :lol:

well i mean i would rather go back in time and see a Joshua Tree tour or Boy or anything from 1980 to 1990. its not that i dont like U2 in the 90s which i really do i would just rather see an older concert...i...really do seem to of gone off topic....anyway maybe i will buy it after the concert this weekend.
