April 14, 200521 yr Author Paige Davis is no longer with trading spaces. They got rid of the whole host deal entirely. It actually works a lot better.
April 15, 200521 yr Author i had no idea! Yeah. Her last episode was in March, I think. They market it as the "new" trading spaces because there's a closer relationship between the designer and the homeowners. After the homeowners see their house, the designer comes in to show them what they did. And they have two carpenters during the show. I actually like it a whole lot better. It seems more "reality" based b/c there's no host outlining what's going on.

He was just pissed really that Chris Rock was hosting, because he's known for making jokes like that.
