This band is so inspiring and can change the was a person precieves things into a more optimistic view. They have made so many differences in alot of people's lives, including myself!

My Chemical Romance - I Don't Love You (Reprise)

 

PRETTY chords? Shimmering choruses? Elegant solos? Correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't that constitute a power ballad?

 

Taking the intro to Coldplay's Yellow and fitting it with knuckledusters, I Don't Love You is - even by emo standards - a seriously emotional track built around Gerard Way's Dear Joan letter to a former lover.

 

He spits, he gargles, he bleats out the final bars like a man with nothing left to give. It's like Keane remixed by Muse. Now there's a thought...

 

Released on April 2.

Aw I like them.

I admit their third album sucks- I only like "Teenagers." But they're second one was really really good.

 

But to each his own, I guess.

heyyyy i like my chemical romance!

i saw them last night, and they were much, MUCH better then i expected live. i went into the show expecting them to be ok live, but they were pretty good! nothing compared to coldplay but nothing (except muse...) can compare to coldplay live.

 

and they also had an amazing light show, and their lead singer is wonderfully entertaining.

Anyone like these guys? Ive seen them mentioned here and there. Im not crazy about most of their stuff, but I like "I Don'T Love You", and I absolutley LOVE "Famous Last Words." That song is one of the best Ive ever heard and it literally gets better each time I listen to it.

That wa their latest album, I hated most of it.

 

I only know about them cuz theyre my drummer's favorite band, so he talks about them as much as I talk about Coldplay
