yeah anyone going to edge, please record :D ... i'll be at MOD and taking pictures...but the bummer is that 2 of my friends can't go to MOD anymore [school] & i hope i can find replacements at school.

i'm going to bring a disposible camera, but i have a feeling it'll be snatched after the first flicker of the flash. they are really cracking down for these gigs.

 

i was planning on brining my cellphone and then recording bits and pieces of the concert on my answering machine, but after reading about how they confiscated phones at the most recent buzz gig, it's not worth it.

 

less then a month until the album drops. wow.

 

anyway, i'm planning on being in line waiting around 2pm the very earliest. i'm not sure if my friend and i are going to go for a quick shop around the eaton's centre or not while we're in toronto though so i'm not sure yet. it's such a small venue that basically every spot's a good spot...and i haven't been to h&m in forever!!

i heard coldplay have been hitting the stage around 10 so far for their gigs.

The H&M at Eaton's Centre is great, did you know they opened one at Yorkdale too? That's usually where we leave the car when we come to Toronto for gigs.

I saw one for 300 for two tickets.. maybe I'm wrong.. I'd rather pay less for tickets and drive up to Canada then pay more and go here.. at least I'd get some sort of cool trip out of it..

 

i saw that auction too! definitely tried for those but by the time i got into the page someone had purchased them already. :P

the seller was even from canada so even shipping would have been cheap!

the funny thing is like maybe 30 minutes later i saw the same seller put up another pair of tickets at a buyitnow price of 550 i think? i wonder if she cancelled the transaction when they saw how much more they could have made.

or they had more tickets! i dunno.

urgh, parking in toronto is crazy. that's what i hate the most when i come down for concerts. i'm always paranoid i'd going to get towed or a ticket.

I've been stalking ebay since the tickets went on sale, but I couldn't find anything in my price range, I was also reporting people right and left.

That's why we leave the car at Yorkdale, unless we know of a secure parking lot near the venue (like at the Opera house).

see i was just at the opera house and had a hard time parking. i just ended up parking along a sidestreet. i dunno how the rules work in toronto with that so i wasn't sure if i could even do that.

 

i think kool haus has it's own parking...or wait i'm thinking of the docks. so yeah, parking on wednesday will be another advenute most likely.

Opera house has green p parking on a side street like 1 min walk away. It's on the street with the stripclub. That's where I part.

 

As for the Kool Haus, there is paid parking not too far away from the venue as well, just a minute or so walk down the street.

nice! i'll have to hunt down that parking lot on wednesday.

 

with the opera house i still parked pretty close, but not in a secure spot. eep. i ended up getting lost trying to find the damn place and went into a starbucks for help and they mentioned that stripclub too. it's quite the landmark!

ahh that's damn cheap compaired to what was it....the 15 i paid at the docks for interpol.

Yah.. the Docks is the worst venue in Toronto. We were parked there too across the venue like really early when we first lined up... but moved since the booth wasn't open yet and found somewhere else to park...

yes, people really seem to hate the docks! i don't mind it that much. i mean it's a great venue if you are up close, but i can see it sucking ass if you are at the back.

what time is everyone going to get in line?

I'm gonna show up in the early afternoon, check out the situation...before 4 pm for sure. Maybe around 2 or 3. If you want to be on the rail, I guess it'll be 8 or 9 am, but I'm happy just being near the front.

Oh, on parking, does anyone know a place around Kool Haus that ISN'T $10?

i'm going there in the morning. no fucking way i'm passing up this chance. but i'm debating if i should walk around first. because i REALLY want to be close. really close. so yeah, i'll be on of those people probably down by 10am or 11.

Union is the closest subway stop to Kool Haus. You need to walk the rest.

i meant to ask you about this before, then the board went down, then i forgot. is there really parking near the kool haus for $3? my dad claims that parking is expensive in the area, especially if there is an event at the ACC going on. i'm trying to figure out what my options are... i would definitely park for $3.
