Gorillaz' official channel posted a remix of On Melancholy Hill about... idk, an hour or so? ago. I like it. Not as good as the original but it isn't bad.

I like it. I like good remixes most of the time. And yah, of course not as good as the original though. But it's cool

The Soulchild Remix for 19-2000 is the only remix I like better than the original song, or at least as far as Gorillaz songs go.

i heard Damon is going to try and interact with the audiences more now than he did at Glastonbury. he really should. i know he doesnt want to be the "front man" of another band, but someone has too. and he really is a terrific front man. whether its blur or the good the bad and the queen. best in his generation at least

^ hey i think i read that in an article too! I know Gorillaz was never about him per say on stage being the front man like you said. And it probably would of been more helpful at Glastonbury if he had introduced some of the people as they came on stage, which he admitted.

Nah, they're only playing at Hong Kong for the Asia leg of the tour. And I haven't even been to Hong Kong! It's not even part of South East Asia, would have to fly there.

I would consider if they intend to come to Singapore, but that would also be hard to get my parents' consent, as after all, it's still out of the country. And I haven't been to Singapore. :blank:

 

But at least I still get to read you guys' experience. :wideeyed:

It's ok Ly one day you will see them. I didn't really start going to many concerts or anything until I was in college anyway. I know it can be a pain in the ass to always have to rely on your parents to take you to a show.

I listened to the Syrian gig last night. It was brilliant! The audience was fantastic and Damon was quite chatty. It was just great! Can't wait to see them :)
