I kinda didn't put any other covers on there other than Hallelujah, since it's so popular... I mean, come on, jeff fucking owns that song.

Has anybody even HEARD the original one by Leonard Cohen...? Seriously.. listen to it for a laugh.

My real favourite is What Will You Say?

but since that's not on the list  i voted for Lover, You Should've Come Over

yep, it's hilariously shit.

"Last Goodbye" for me too, it first turned me onto him.

what the hell is wrong with you people? how can you possibly think that leonard cohen's original version of hallelujah is "hilariously shitty" :o . this is fucking leonard cohen we're talking about here! it may not be as good as jeff buckley or even rufus wainright's version of the song, but it is still VERY GOOD

Hallelujah. One of the best "covers" I've ever heard. A true classic.

It's horrible. Just absolutely horrible. I wouldn't even agree that "it may not be as good as Buckley, but it's still very good", because it really isn't. I really did laugh out loud when I first heard it.

But then, that's just my opinion.

It seriously is. I swear, Leonard Cohen isn't even singing. It sounds like he's talking. And not only that, the song is just very corny sounding.

Jeff then Rufus then Cohen.

Actually, I'd even rate KD Lang's version before Leonard Cohen. It's pretty sad when another artist can do your own song better.

^^KD lang's version is nice as well. Better than Cohen's for sure.

tough choice but i'm voting everybody here wants you

sorry mojo pin

Last Goodbye

But where's Kanga-Roo?

It's a tough choice. I love all his songs so much. I think i'll have to go with "Lover, You Should've Come Over"

I don't know... I couldn't really choose. I went for Everybody Here Wants You, as I just love it.

Also my very favourite live recording is the cover of The Way YOung Lovers Do of Live at Sine. THat is such an awesome song, and such an awesome recording!

That song is just pure sex.. I don't know how else to describe it, just lovely.
