September 23, 200916 yr Patriotism is mass Stockholm Syndrome. Perhaps it should be replaced by Gaytriotism.:D
September 23, 200916 yr Perhaps it should be replaced by Gaytriotism.:D Stop your stupid word games and just say damn "Gay pride".
September 23, 200916 yr Even that's an annoying term though, I'm not proud that I am straight, so why should they be proud that they are gay?
September 23, 200916 yr Even that's an annoying term though, I'm not proud that I am straight, so why should they be proud that they are gay? It's the common term though.. I was just trying to annoy him. I shall leave now, since this is a never ending discussion. But you're right, somehow..
September 23, 200916 yr YES. The government has no right to enforce what the public thinks the morals of the country should be. It's so horrible, it's like the only people who care about seperation of church/state are atheists anyway. BLAGH I'm a Christian but I still believe in separation of Church and State....well you know I support the destruction of a state as a whole, but you know what I mean. I was passing my old elementary school the other day and I could hear the national anthem. I had totally forgotten that they would play the national anthem at my school along with the pledge. Heh. Hahahaha same here. Patriotism is mass Stockholm Syndrome. FUCKING HELL I HAVE NEVER LOOKED AT IT THAT WAY. So true...
September 23, 200916 yr It's the common term though.. I was just trying to annoy him. I shall leave now, since this is a never ending discussion. I see no reason why this discussion should be expected to come to an end. Plus you still haven't answered my question.;)
September 23, 200916 yr I see no reason why this discussion should be expected to come to an end. Plus you still haven't answered my question.;) You didn't ask a question.
September 23, 200916 yr It was implicit. "responded to my post" I would have accepted, but you specifically referenced a question that does not exist.
September 23, 200916 yr "responded to my post" I would have accepted, but you specifically referenced a question that does not exist. Whether you "accept" it or not is totally irrelevant.
September 23, 200916 yr Oh look, you've never said that before! If repeating yourself were a crime, you'd have been sent down for life years ago.:laugh3:
September 23, 200916 yr Was the fact that you repeated a joke you made earlier in that post intentional? Or are you just a fucking idiot?
September 23, 200916 yr Was the fact that you repeated a joke you made earlier in that post intentional? I don't believe any "joke" in that post was repeated, as the post only contained one comment. I hope I don't have to repeat myself..............................
September 23, 200916 yr Nathan is to Comedy- As WendyGirl is to the Aryan Race. I think you mean Victor is to Comedy what the Ku Klux Klan are to racial harmony.
September 23, 200916 yr Well, I haven't seen this thread before, but I support it! I live in florida too, and believe any human being has the right to be happy. If you say to me "I'm gay" I would look at you and say "So, I'm straight", big deal. Gay, straight, they are words... If you love someone who cares what sex they are?? If your happy that's what matters. AND being Gay doesn't mean SEX, lot's of people think Gay people are obsessed with having sex and it's all about sex, It's 2 people finding a common bond just like straight people, they deserve to marry, share households, insurance, ect... Yes some places in America are backwards, some States have open arms and open minds tho.
September 23, 200916 yr Author Even that's an annoying term though, I'm not proud that I am straight, so why should they be proud that they are gay? It's not that I am all into gay pride or anything. It is more an acceptance of ourselves as gay people and being proud of who we are even though society kind of shits on us a lot. Also, heterosexuals are the majority it wouldn't make as much sense to have straight pride. *edit^Nice words by the way MartinFan:)
September 23, 200916 yr Even that's an annoying term though, I'm not proud that I am straight, so why should they be proud that they are gay? I agree with you wholeheartedly here, I'm a lesbian but I don't feel any need at all to be either proud or ashamed of it, or broadcast my sexuality, if someone asks I will be honest with them but other than that I really don't think its worth mentioning and people like that annoying twat John Barrowman who have to tell the whole world their gay every chance they get just irritate me beyond belief.

I see what you mean. And although I am gay I am not quick to tell everyone. I am very guarded with it, especially in the work place. Although, I do love a good gay pride parade. That is just fun.
