I like kids.. so long as they arent mine.. lol I am too selfish at the moment.. and I dont want to think about kids.. I know, I am not getting any younger.. and my clock may be running out.. but if I dont settle down with someone in the next 3 years... it aint happening.. I am not having kids in my late 30s or early 40s... I dont care how many women have tried.. I aint doin it!! If I have kids.. I want to be able to enjoy them...
July 12, 200520 yr Maybe it has something to do with the crappy job that my parents did raising me and my sister. I don't want to be like them and damage people like that... Although my sister is the opposite, she doesn't want to make the same mistakes IF she has children, and I am sure she won't. I just think you have to be absolutely ready for kids, financially, emotionally all of that and some people are not.
July 12, 200520 yr touche..... my parents split when I was 3.. my dad did the best job he could raising me and my sister. I dont know if I could be responsible for another human beings life like that... I dont want to be a lackey like my mom was to me.. lol till this day she has no clue!!! lol And she swears we have the best relationship.. haha! I dare ask... 'what relationship??' :lol: :lol:
July 12, 200520 yr Yah, my parents separated this year... they were going through some bad shit with my dad's alcoholism..blah blabh, you've heard the story before. I don't have any kind of relationship/friendship with my mom, we've never really been too close (except that pre high school stage). My sister is a reckless, she is the total opposite of me, she was dating at 14, going to parties, etc.. my mom didn't know how to deal with it since she had it so easy with me. And my mom has no emotional side either, she just hides it in, I don't think she has ever said that she loves me...ever.

July 12, 200520 yr My mom needs to go out and date now that my dad is not in the picture anymore.He still has high hopes that they will get back together... not a chance. I think he is going to move back to Poland because he feels like he has nothing left here. Umm.. you have your kids. Since the split, he doesn't pay any attention to us, he used to give me money all the time, now nothing. I think my mom made him feel responsible though and guilty about it and now he is talking about sending me and my sister to the Carribean, but I doubt that it will actually happen.
July 12, 200520 yr Author aww. well my parents didn't do the best job of raising us, we have a very dysfuctional family. it's just the fact that i love my brother and sister's to death. my parents love me, i know it, i don't have a great relationship with my mom but i still love her. she's usually the one asking me for hugs and kisses. me and my dad are closer, because he's more laid back. one thing i know though, i never want to turn out like my mom. and i want to have a good relationship with them. i want at least 3. 3 or 4 i want. :) i LOVE kids. i'm voting 3 for now. but it all depends on financial situation and stuff. my family isn't well off at all.
July 12, 200520 yr is just me here who thinks about the adoption :stunned: if i get a job when i'll be like 20 or 22 i want to try to adopt a baby, and as i know it'll took me years to get it... i talked about it with my parents and they see no problems about it and i really don't mind about what my friends and others relatives think about it. but if i fall in love one day.. may be with 23 or 25 i like to have a baby too, or may be two. i don't mind if is a guy or a girl. i'm an only daugther and i would like to have 2 or 3 kids, and all the people i know says i'm good with children. may be i'll end having like 4, 2 mines and others 2 adopted. that's not sweet. :nice: but i need to find a good and sure job, have time to care them and a guy. so now it's very far... :/

July 12, 200520 yr if i can't find a good guy to have my children. i want to have children anyways. :) my parents and I have talked about it loads of times, even to adopt them a kid, i said them i won't have any problem if i have to care my brother or sister, i'll love him or her like if he or she is my real brother or sister. :) but as we know is hard to adopt they don't want to apply for it. :/

No one is to say who can or cannot have an idea of what they want in their future no matter how old or young they are. I don't think you have a place in saying what she should be doing.

I don't think you have a place in saying what she should be doing. yeah we were all talking about our futures. one of those serious talks we were having. my friends are really deep sometimes. talking about everything. love, lust, creation, adaption, careers, families, school, relationships. everything! but hey, we still do look for hot guys and go to the mall :P
