in fairness, a bit shoddy.... but the tribute is quite nice, if not coincidental in respect to 7/7.

About 90 seconds in u can see a lighting man in the background... And it just seems like the same old droll coldplay video otherwise, doesn't do the song justice..

Does it not say "Twisted Logic" because it looks remarkably similar to my ticket from Crystal Palace...which is on my notice board... :D

Personally, I've been completely unimpressed with Coldplay's most recent videos. I was really looking forward to the video for "Fix You", but like I was with "Speed of Sound", I was greatly disappointed.

 

I think they should have kept it going with the actual video thing instead of taking it to the concert. It was just blah.

It isn't awful. It's perfectly inoffensive. The song is still gonna be a hit--because of radio.

it's very average-y really. I was amused by the speed with which Chris suddenly runs from London to Bolton and have nothing against the end of it, the bit at the concert itself - it's the horribly annoyingly dull street walking that irritates me - at least there's 4 of them at the stadium!

It feels good to be a part of Coldplaying history .... did u see me in the crowd.... five rows in on the pitch near the edge of the penalty box :P ...

I personally reckon its one of their best videos ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crowd - I both love it and don't like it for the same reason - the singing.

I think Coldplay concerts are special... We sing better than most :wink3:

On the downside of course, it brings down the studio-quality recording.

 

But Chris looks tired and worn-out on the video :( They all need a break to recharge

I have waited to see the video for ages and love it even more now that the video is out, did you see that VH2 played it back to back for a whole hour last night..

I thought it was ok. Quite uneventful in the beginning, but when he got to the concert, I thought that was quite cool and the crowd singin with just created more atmosphere! So all in all ok, but I wouldn't say totally amazing! :)

I obtained the video through bittorrent this morning, and I finally got the chance to viewed it this morning :)

 

I think it's a good video, not great. The video is like a mixture of u2's "Stuck in a moment.." (european), U2's "SYCMIOYO", Coldplay's "Trouble" (european version), Matchbox 20's "3 am", and that Unkle video from couple years back.

 

The downside to this are that: a) No hot chick is involved b) No car crashes c) The stupid sing-along with the crowd at the very end.

 

My rating: 5/5 for the visuals, 4/5 for the song, video + song = 4.28/5 :D

I'm thinking with a song like White Shadows (if its the next single) they could easily do something crazy for that video

 

On this video I was kinda indifferent, however it did show the band's ability to move a crowd....they still couldve done more with such an amazing song though
