September 9, 200520 yr Silverion allowed me to do this poll cuz it would be a righteous question. Dont know about allowed. Just prodded gently. So cmon guys. You want a fair poll. Oasis or Blur. Both british britpop legends. But which really was the better band?
September 9, 200520 yr love oasis so i've voted for them. i think blur are a great band too, they've released some great songs over the years. always liked one of their earlier songs 'theres no other way'

September 9, 200520 yr Author mmh let's say Blur isn't as much Pop as Oasis, could that be? they do very different styles. But doesn't mean Oasis is worse. Cuz I vote for Oasis, I love that band so much. They have such masterpieces of songs: Wonderwall - Cast No Shadow - Supersonic - Don't Look Back In Anger... I like Blur's Song 2 & There's No Other Way very much, the rest is also good, although there are some tacky songs...like Tender etc.

September 12, 200520 yr Blur? Consistently Good? Hello? the album Blur? 13? Both steaming piles with 70% fillers and a couple of good tracks. Oh and as for Oasis`s new stuff not being as good, get your ears cleaned, DBTT, the greatest Oasis album in ten years. So yeah, Oasis easily for me, best band on the planet.
September 14, 200520 yr It looks like Oasis is winning by about 2 to 1... I love Oasis - I may be ten years late, but I finally got into them recently. I have yet to hear anything by Blur... Does anyone have a suggestion on where to start?
September 14, 200520 yr Try listening to Modern Life Is Rubbish or Parklife both classic albums. :D I can't believe Oasis are winning all their songs sound the same. At least Damon Alburn isn't afraid to try out different genres on the Blur and Gorillaz albums.

Still - Morning Glory IS the very best Oasis-Album, it can't be beaten!

Best thing Albern has ever done is make dohcerty (sp) history OASIS every time for me
