Hey, on a totally unrelated tack, could someone give me some advice on getting mobile phone service in Australia? I've heard that the phone actually comes together with the service and that you don't need to buy one from the phone company... Is this true?

 

Where I'm from, you have to get the phone and the service separately... So even if you change telecoms, you would still be using the same mobile, only switching the networks :)

You can do both of those for your phones.

 

You can buy a phone, and have it come with a SIM card so you can use that, or you can use your own phone and just buy a new SIM card.

Just got a gold area seat for the third Melbourne show. Logged on early and got it! Could have had a standing ticket, but the floor seat I got is great. Now I have to decide whether to go to the second Melbourne show with my silver ticket or sell it. I will be in gold section 8!

kekita, was that at the Rod Laver Arena? If so, can you tell me how the seating setup will be for the Coldplay concert? For example, in section 8, any idea how close I'll be to the stage?

Yeah it was, can't remember exact seating and number, but i was in the middle and upper seats of section 18 they were closer to section 19 than 17.

 

the view was quite good, you could see them all clearly their faces but they were still some way off also because we were to the side we saw Guy Berryman the best :wink3: in the line of view was these pole -like sturctures i think they hold up the lights but not to worry these wont impede your view.

 

It was quite good i say again but ofcourse not as good as the floor... i can't image how bad it would be at the upper section...i may need binoculars.

i hate being short. i wont be able to see anything :( :cry:
