yeah lol. I think a couple of people snuck some in at our concert, I wish I did that, but I don't think my dad would've let me.

Aww, how come you aren't going anymore?

I bought my camera along, but they said I couldn't take it in. I think, if you take it, and get there early, you'll have time to put it back in your car if they say no. But yeah, I'll say take it, incase you can take it in.

I don't understand why they didn't let us take the cameras in.

so if you can't take it in, where do you put it? cos i think my friends and i are catching the train in? so say they tell us we can't take it in, where do we put it? cos i only have a digital, and i don't want to lose it or get it taken of me.

Well, we drove there, so we could put it in our car. Or we could put it in the cloak room - but thats not the greatest though. When we were going out, there was a huge que lining up for their stuff!

oohhh righty i see. how do they know if we take in cameras though? do they check our bags and everything?

Surely they cant take everybodys cameras! Do they use a metal detector or anything?

i was just about to ask that

no, they say out loud "NO CAMERAS etc."

And they checked my bag with a torch. You can try putting it in your pocket or disguise it or something in your bag. ... oh man... just realised, there was a little pocket on the otherside of my bag... which the guys didn't check.. awwwww

oohhh i see. so basically they'll check your bags to see. do they check pockets? because i remember at the muse concert, they checked our pockets.

they didn't check mine. But different cities, things... might've changed? Maybe someone who is going to the concert tonight will say something tomorrow.

Great! It shouldnt be too hard to sneak one in! :sneaky:

alrighty, awesome. thanks laurazstar :nice:

tis alright.

but yeah, should be easy to sneak one. Just don't get caught by the usher people!

  • Author

oohhh i just hope they don't catch me with one.

by the way laura, what time did you line up? like how many hours beforehand?

because i don't know what time i should go. i'm in the standing area and i'm a shortie, and i'm scared i won't be able to see anything. :disappointed:

well, I didn't need to line up, since I knew where I was sitting (seated seats

:( ) But I heard that some people started lining up at 2:30 to get the front row places.

But i don't think you'll need to line up... that early... I don't think.

hahah oh righty. thanks so much! :nice: ahh soo excited for tomorrowwwww.

was there much merchandise on sale? apart from cp shirts and stuff?

They didn't check pockets, but yeah they were like "no cameras or you'll be going home early!" it was scary lol. Hide it under your clothes or something I'd say.

We got there about 7ish? and we were panicking because we were right at the end of the line for queing up, but once we got in there, with everyone spread out the length of the stage, we still got right up to the barrier. Also, heaps of people don't come for the support act too.

But I'd still get their alot earlier than us just to be safe. We were planning to, but as I said in another post we caught the wrong friggin train to the other side of Brisbane, so that made us very late lol.

yeah, I didn't see all of it, but I saw shirts, posters, king rings... jackets (I REALLY WANTED A JACKET... but too expensive), ummm and other stuff.

And don't forget to sign up for trade fair ;), I made sure I did. (first thing I did actually.)

About merch... very expensive t shirts, like double the price they are on the website, but I still got one cause there was one that wasn't on the website.

There's an awesome poster for $10, keyrings, programme, bracelet, beanies and Youth Group stuff. Think thats about it?

awww If i catched the wrong train I would be having a heart attack! I was scared enough when me and dad couldn't find the sign pointing for the centre!

And they give out MTF tattoo's, we took a few :P

they did!?! where? awwww I want one... were they selling them at the MTF table?

Oh I was having a heart attack... we had no money, so we had to catch a few trains without a ticket, we were almost crying, I was swearing my head of cause I couldn't understand the time table LOL. The thing tht got me angry was I asked the train guy if it was the train to Boondall, and he said yes, but it was the train to bloody Beinleigh!!!
