i just saw the talk the tour thingy and am i the only one who is kinda annoyed?? I mean i just think it's kinda sly that the offer is only open to people in america. Coldplay are from the U.K but do residents here get such promotional offers?? It seems not. What do you think? Sorry if im the only one who feels this way, but i had to get it off my chest! thanks for listenin!

I agree, but I think part of it was to make up for the dates they missed earlier. :/

 

This is the problem with liking a band that is popular all over the world - they have to cater to all their fans.

Yeah i know.......i know america is bigger but i think they should do cool stuff like that for europe and do more dates here too

You think you're annoyed! The talk the tour thing is for the North American tour, but you have to be a US resident to enter. Canadians can't, even though part of the tour is here. And people wonder how we ended up with a national inferiority complex. :rolleyes:

 

At least in Europe there is hope of them doing something like this eventually.

london is a great place....coldplay are great too, but you have lots that appeals to us over here, like new york, sunny weather (who really wants grey clouds all their life???) chicago, and you too have great accents.

We dont hate you!! and we all think its terrible whats happening but its just when they came bace to the UK for the second tour they didnt announce the dates in this way and didnt have the promotional competion thing.

 

i apoligise for starting this new thread.

first of all...I ENVY ALL THOSE WHO LIVE IN EUROPE AND ENGLAND. I have visited ireland, italy, germnay, and britian...people in the US dont know what they are missing...i am going to college in London b/c i want to get out of this country soooo badly!
