Hi.

 

I've made some Coldplay art in Photoshop, which I'm gonna make into a picture. I've kept it simple since my skills with a brush is sort of limited and I also liked the concept.

 

The picture will be pretty big (~150x100 cm). Im curious if anyone got any suggestions on what kind of colors to use, what to paint it on etc.

 

The font of the coldplay text if awful, though I dont have any goodlooking fonts on the computer so I will make something up later on the actual painting.

 

Please share any possible advise and/or critisism you might have.

It's good, yeah. You used Comic Sans MS Font, didn't you? I usually use a Curly type of writing with Paint Shop Pro, but yes, it's good :D

yes, used the comic sans, since it's often an easy choice for illustration. I've changed the font now and will upload the results.

Thanks about that. Tried it and the result was way better.

 

I'll post it again with the changed font and also with another background. I originally planned a black background but I'm afraid that it will be too dark since it will be a pretty big picture.

Yes, it's compressed, that's why it looks rugged.

I agree with that, though Im not sure about hang up a black picture that big on the wall though. As a wallpaper it's nice though.

How stupid am i? i've never realised it was the same font of 'the fellowship of the ring'! i went to check it out on my poster i used to have in my bedroom!!! :rolleyes: anyways...thanx for that nettie, i've been looking for that font for quite a while!
