November 18, 200520 yr Author well I guess not,so I'll just start talking about the band. They are so great. Loveless, what an album
December 2, 200520 yr Just about my favorite band in the world. There are some cool rarities, b-sides and videos at: http://www.planetjesterz.com/mbv/index.php There are a number of live MP3s at: http://www.inkoma.com/pages/my_bloody_valentine.html
September 22, 200619 yr The "My Bloody Valentine appreciaton" thread yes, some old stuff revisited. and it still sounds great!!! any "loveless lovers" ???
September 22, 200619 yr "oh my love, please don't cry, I'll wash my bloody hands and we'll start a new life" i think that's how that song by good charlotte goes...not that i like them or anything....
September 22, 200619 yr Yeah I love them  I first knew them when I watched the movie Lost in Translation, I heard Sometimes and three more songs by Kevin Shields only and I loved them. So then I got Loveless and Isn't Anything.
September 22, 200619 yr perfectly fits to that movie by the way, love the song, love the movie. great mix i'm listening to Isn't Anything right now, wow, i'm amazed it's almost as good as Loveless. though, i still prefer Loveless. *goes and puts Isn't Anything higher on his albums list :curtain: *
September 22, 200619 yr eh?wtf?? it's the title for some song by Good charlotte, a band...Bloody Valentine...but i didn't know that you were talking about something else..:stunned:

September 22, 200619 yr Yeah love this movie too... And I actually love the whole soundtrack, it's just awesome. Isn't Anything is good, though I still prefer Loveless  By the way, I have no idea what does this band have to do with Good Charlotte.... I hope nothing.

September 23, 200619 yr hahah good charlotte, haha! i didnt know there existed people who could even quote their lyrics
September 24, 200619 yr You do know that there is already another MBV thread: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23231 I tried listening but they mean nothing to me.
September 24, 200619 yr great. a thread with 4 posts, you like to search, dont you? according to the gigs/bands you have attended i'm not surprised you don't like them
September 24, 200619 yr So what type of music are they like? From the name "My Bloody Valentine" that suggests that they are a gothic/emo style band
September 24, 200619 yr emo? why prejudice because of name... i'd say some dreamy, noisey pop/rock, alternative rock kind of according to wikipedia: Alternative rock Shoegazing Post-punk Noise pop Dream pop
September 25, 200619 yr I don't even know what does emo-music sound like... Anywya, judging by name is kinda... snobbish. Since I saw this thread around I decided to re-listen their stuff and I think I like Isn't Anything more now, I think I'm in love with I Can See It, But I Can't Feel It :cheesy:
November 24, 200718 yr My Bloody Valentine Reunite :o Did anyone else know they were back together? And it looks like they're actually recording another album! http://www.reuters.com/article/entertainmentNews/idUSN2330957120071123 "'Alternative-rock band My Bloody Valentine plans to "do a Radiohead" when the Anglo-Irish quartet releases its long-awaited follow-up to 1991's "Loveless," Billboard has learned...."At the moment, all I can say is that Kevin is getting the band back together and they will go into the studio next month to work on the new record," Joshi said, referring to notoriously reclusive singer/guitarist and bandleader Kevin Shields.'"
