If you like the direction those are in, I would say go for In Absentia. If you want something new, I'll say either Stupid Dream or Lightbulb Sun. Both of those are more in the pop/rock direction.

I would recommend Up The Downstair over TSMS. The songs are a lot shorter and easier to take in for some people. (Of course I'm not one of those folks. Long live Anesthetize. :heart: ) Not to mention Synesthesia and Fadeaway are some must hear tracks!

The new one, only because I've listened to it quite a lot more than the other 2.

That's fair, as an album it is the best of the three IMO.

i think its in the 2nd disc of the special edition (that video is from a german tv show,not the chicago concert).

I wish I had an extensive Porcupine Tree collection. I only have Deadwing, Signify and The Incident. I saw Arriving Somewhere... in a store today but I didn't have enough money for it. D:

"A question increasingly asked is; what happened to the planned Porcupine Tree DVD for which 2 shows in Tilburg in The Netherlands were filmed last October? The answer is that work did commence on editing and mixing the concert footage, but everything was put on hold while the band recorded The Incident. Now the project is once again moving forward, and the DVD is tentatively scheduled for release in the Spring. The completed footage, which was filmed in high definition, looks and sounds fantastic, and is a step up in quality from the band's previous "Arriving Somewhere" DVD. There are also plans for a deluxe multi disk edition to include not only audio CDs of the Tilburg performance, but also CDs containing at least one other memorable show recorded earlier during the Fear of a Blank Planet touring period."

Thanks! I did have a great time, it was a really good performance and a great track listing. No one actually seemed to bothered that I was taking a few pics, so really it didnt require being sneaky at all!

Agreed! Steven always seems to be involved in some kind of project, whether it be his bands or re-mastering albums etc.

Not sure. There's a lot of speculation on what show would be used for a DVD.
