I'm at the point of finding a company to help build my website. I was going to go with "Go Daddy .com". They are cheap but not so user friendly. It took me over an hour to post one item. I have over 300. I can only spend a few hours a day setting this up. Who has 100 days to do this??? Needless to say I canceled my website the same day.

 

So I would like some feedback. Here's how it will work. When you see an item you want you can either purchase it or toss it into a cart and continue shopping. When finished, 1st time users will fill out basic info., Name, shipping address and email. I will then send a request for payment via PayPal. If the order is placed and paid for by 2:00 pm (mountain) I will ship your order the same business day.

On your next visit your info is securely stored so all you have to do is select your items and click purchase. Shortly after your payment request will show up on PayPal.

I tried to make this as simple as possible. No more bidding against other people. No more forgetting about an auction only to loose the item to someone else. No more paying outrageous shipping charges. No more waiting 5 or 6 days after you've paid to have your order shipped. No more "not as described" shipments from sellers who don't know anything about Coldplay items.

 

Please give me some feedback and let me know what you think. I'm still in the development stage so your input is welcome. If you have an idea please share.

Within 60 days I hope. I had a plan for the name "The PlayList" or theplaylist.com but someone already owns that domain. I was thinking "thecoldplaystore.com" but that might infringe on rights of the band. I don't know how it works with domains. I know in the early 90's people were buying up domain names like walmart.com and selling them back to the actual companies. If anyone has name ideas I can use please help. If you have any ideas in general that can help my store and if I use your idea I will send you a free Coldplay item!

 

I have a few vendors that can keep me at a 300+ inventory but I would like to grow to 500 or more. I want to have the best selection on the internet. I will send you the excel file that describes everything in detail. I don't have pictures included yet. I tried to upload a picture for each item within the file but the file got so big it took almost 10 minuets just to open it.

 

Oh, I almost forgot your first question. I have been collecting since AROBTTH release but started very slow. I didn't put a lot of effort in to it until the last couple years.

Well, you really have impressed me, I wonder how you've got all that. I'm pretty interested in old concerts, rare recordings, rare edits and promo CD's. It's a great idea to open a store, I think you can count with me as a buyer.
