Live 105 only plays Talk nowadays. Alice sometimes. Oh how I miss my Channel1049 though... they used to play Coldplay like 10 times a day! :cry:

I think I saw the Talk Video once on MTV U channel. MTV needs to tone down the repeats of trashy shows and get back to the its original purpose. MUSIC VIDEOS on TELEVISION, all kinds. I mean I want to see some new artists. key word ARTISTs not performers.

But 89X radio station here in Michigan just played it on the radio and my little bro was just blasting it! :guitarist: woo hoo!

I'm watching CMC right now and Switchfoot is on. Listening to this song with that smiley is hilarious.

The only place I have seen "Talk" was on the Coldplayer. I must say that it is a spectacular video...very creative...I like creative.....

US radio follows the Hot 100 chart too closely to decide what it plays. That's a huge reason why "Talk" isn't getting a ton of video and airplay here yet. The Hot 100 is affected largely by digital downloads, so download "Talk" legally and you can help the song get higher on the charts (it's currently not in the Top 100 :( ) "Speed Of Sound" debuted at #8 on the US singles chart because everyone downloaded it. Now that everyone has the album, their second and third singles are suffering on the chart, and as a result, radio and the video channels.

 

By the way, "Talk" is currently Top 10 at Alternative radio and still hasn't been released to Adult Top 40 and Pop radio.

Just saw 100 % coldplay again, they play that loads.. I don't watch TV much, or listen to the radio Coldplay always seems to be on, maybe thats just my luck.

Anyone ever hear the song "MTV makes me wanna smoke crack" by Beck? Anyway MTV SUCKS! I get all my Coldplay off the net.

And I was watching VH1 this morning and they played Madonna's "Hung Up" video twice within 5 minutes!!!!! Twice in 5 minutes!!!! God...talk about overkill. I am so sick of seeing her ass dancing around like a moron. :lol:

 

Maybe if they would actually play videos from artists who do not dominate the Billboard Hot 100 chart, other artists might have a chance to be noticed. :angry:
