I didn t tell you that Coldplay is nominated in 3 categories ( best internationnal album for X&Y, best internationnal band ) and will perform saturday 01-21 at Cannes midem.

Not only will the band be attending the ceremony, but they are all set to perform.

Well, http://www.tvtv.de and http://www.tf1.fr both say that the NRJ award broadcast will start at 20:50 today, so I think it's right. But maybe you'll see another TF1, because you're living in Switzerland and not in France. I don't know... :/
