January 24, 200620 yr Pete Doherty a hero and a villain its obvious his fans were strung out too when voting for him and just voted for hime no matter what the category was.
January 24, 200620 yr .....omfg its all my fault :stunned: :bigcry:  OMG Steph!! Such a crime! You need to be punished now.. no more bling for the entire week and.. and.. and! no more smileys for you, they'll will be disabled! And your font will be turned into a tiny, yellow, cursive!! Absolutely not your fault! I just hope the guys don't hear about this.. you know who neurotic Chris gets!

January 24, 200620 yr I saw that - that is pretty harsh coming from a magazine that said their album was great, their performance at Glastonbury was amazing and did a double spread featured of them at the end of the year. Fuck 'em in deed! This is just typical of people in the UK - they turn on anyone who is really successful. Then again, look at how the people voted - who the hell thinks Peter Dohety could possibly be the 'best dressed' person... huh? the guy can't even keep flies his done up... The good news: X&Y is set to become the biggest selling album in the WORLD from 2005. That counts a little more than the view of a pretentious NME mag! :) Erm....you do realise how much it would have to sell in order to be the top selling album in the world don`t you? That has to be the most ridiculous statement I`ve ever heard. Sargeant Peppers by the Beatles is around 4.5 million sales with Morning Glory by Oasis catching it up at 4.2, so you really think with Coldplay selling just over a million of X&Y that they are anywhere near that, no, they are not even top 20 of all time, and the album sales won`t get much better now. Makes a nice change for Coldplay to be snubbed for a change at an awards ceremony, because the general concensus outside of the Coldplay fanbase is that their latest was pants, even though I don`t belive they are the worst band, I voted for the Darkness  At the end of the day, the awards mean naff all anyway, If you like the album and the band, what`s the problem?

Actually it is not that ridiculous - if you READ it properly... of the albums released in 2005 (yes, that is what I said - not 'ever'!!), X&Y is set to sell the most copies throughout the world. And the general concensus is not that the album was 'pants' - otherwisehow would they have sold over a million copies (throughout the world in 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
January 24, 200620 yr Can someone plase tell me why they should be worst band for this year 2006? How can they predict this
January 24, 200620 yr control youself... control yourself.. CONTROL YOURSELF! CUNTS! and i never say that...     true true
January 24, 200620 yr Everything i can tell-Fcuk NME. Jesus Christ, Kaiser Chiefs have all nominations!!  Now I know why a lots of people in Britain says that NME is like a toilet roll (erm, you know what I wanna said :P ).
January 24, 200620 yr if Coldplay will win the Grammys and The Brits, whoTF cares that Chris is worst dressed and Coldplay suck because NME readers voted for them  in my opinion get a good appreciation from critics is the highest prize in the music,Coldplay can have 2-3 fans and 2000-3000 haters,it doesn't matter.i will still love them,if they will continue to do good music
January 24, 200620 yr i think NME like a lot of bands that just smash on the guitar .... Coldplay don't do this = Coldplay are the worst band .... yeah right!
January 24, 200620 yr the only thing that pisses me the most and got acrossed my mind in second is the fact how much will the band think about this. chris not once said that they're always thinking on the ones that don't like them and seek the reasons for this. and one more thing,I so fucki' don't like kaiser chiefs, for a very long time.
January 24, 200620 yr I carn't believe NME, that stinks! Though I'm sure the lads wont be all that bothered.

I had the same thought when I read they were nominated for the worst band! I don't care about NME, but I think the guys are going to be upset about that!
