I have a few more details about it up on my blog. (link in sig)

They said they began shipping albums yesterday. I'm hoping it comes before the release date!

i didn't know they starting shipping yesterday! I was just about to pre-order the album, but then I saw that I either had to pay $15 for shipping, or $2 (which said it would take two weeks). Since they started shipping i'll preorder now.

edit: just pre ordered the album!

I would if I didn't have exams when they're on tour. :(

they are huge, but the song was AMAZING

i liked it better than the studio version

is this your music blog??? I'm impressed! :) I've been looking to start my own music blog as well... but, I guess fear holds me back. lol Like what if its utter shite... I dunno.... I just may need to jump in and do it, huh?

anyhoo... let me know how you like working on it.. ;)

great review btw! Keep up the good work!

Haha, yup that is my music blog. I try to update it as much as possible. If you love music, and love talking about music, then I recommend starting your own. If you're a little shy about it just keep it private for the first little bit then tell more and more people as you gain more confidence in your blogging abilities.

"Forced to Love" is a pretty good song, but is it me, or does the live performance sound way better?

As for the album, I love it. The 4-track punch that is "Meet Me in the Basement" through "Romance to the Grave" just rocks my pants off. Rest of the album is also mostly good.

I know it's not really related, but I like it much better than the new New Pornographers album which I'm also listening to (which isn't bad, but far from their best effort).

;)thanks... I just may do that... :)

that'd be cool to do (start a blog)... I've been considering doing it myself... I think it'd be fun and cool.

Also the more I listen to this album the more I love it! The only song at this point that hasn't really clicked for me is Ungrateful Little Father (though I love the 2nd instrumental part of the song)

Where is Halifax? Frig you BSS. So much for a Canadian band.

This should be renamed the Eastern US/Canada tour. None of these places are ever remotely close to Texas. Dammit. >_<
