The local newspaper has started a petition saying it's not fair for BEP to "phunk" (yes, that word was in the newspaper) with our hearts and not play a whole concert! Man, I felt like calling and saying "what about Coldplay!! bring the boys back for a full concert.. at least there'd be some talent involved.."

Only three weeks boys and girls... until the air is sweeter in this town, due to the presence of my boys...

They just interviewed Jonny and Chris on ET Canada.. it was great! (although, I don't know how I'm going to handle Chris and his hair when he gets to town... gah, it's soooo long!!!)

Anyways, there's apparently something big going to happen (unless Chris is bullshitting us.. as usual... hehe)...

So, Coldplay is playing at the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys... and I bought pit tickets this last weekend. Actually, I have a few extra... and I'd like to offer them to local fans to buy before I try and get rid of them somewhere else.

So, you can use this thread, or PM me to find out more about the tickets.

 

As well, this thread can be used to say more (as more is found out) about the performance of the boys in Halifax. I'll let you know anything I find out and any other local fans can dish the news here if they find anything out (i.e. local concerts, radio contests, etc).

 

Any speculation on what they'll be playing? Do you think they'll have a new single by then? (April 2nd)...

either way... Coldplay will be in our great city soon! :D :D :D

woohoo.. last night there was a huge free concert in the middle of the city. It was completely rocking!!! 6000+ people getting ready for an amazing weekend. And tonight, there's a hockey game between retired NHLers and Canadian musicians.

Should be fun.

Today the band Pilate did an acoustic set at Sam the Record Man. There were only around 30 people there. I just sat down on the floor like a little kid listening to somebody reading a story. Afterwards I chatted with the boys and got their autographs.

 

Celebrity Sitings: Joel Plaskett, yeah he is a local hero but still I swear I saw him on a bench outside of Stage Nine today.
