I fear this subject is going to make you all cry.

 

I dont know where I stand with it, sometimes I feel scared of turning 19 (It happens on Sunday guys, get me a card :P), other times I feel like I'm way too young in my own skin.

 

I think the fear of getting older affects a 15 year old just as much as a 30 year old, its the same thing, we are all ageing at the exact same rate. Therefore I think when older people look at me and say "You think you're getting older, I'm almost 26!" it's a horrible way to look at things.

heh,everything what will happen in 100-200 years interests me...but maybe there will be no life on the earth then,i don't know.humans are going in a wrong way...i think we live in a VERY GOOD period

I'm not afraid of getting older, but I don't necessarily like it. I don't like the fact that the older I get, the more likely I am to here that someone I know has died. I don't like that in the last 8 years I've lost 2 grandparents, and that as I'm older I realise more fully how little time I could have left with my Grandma.

 

I don't like the fact that I'm getting older and my body is reacting to certain things in certain ways.

 

I do like the fact that as I'm older, I'm more able to deal with some situations than I was before.

 

I love the fact that I'm finally old enough to earn enough money to have my own car.

 

I hate the fact that I'm so old I no longer get ID'ed to buy alcohol.

 

I love the fact that, at the age of 27, I feel old but Ian is even older than me!!!

 

I hate the fact that I'm 2 years older than my Mum was when she had her first child. (me, wasn't she so lucky! :lol: )

I'd like to reach 18 in one piece..

I'm not afraid of getting older but I dont like everything that comes along. In three years I will finish school and I have no idea what to do efter that, three years might sound like an awful lot of time but time goes by faster than you think.

And then I will have to move away from home and try to cope with life on my own, I know that'll be hard for me because I'm not got at being alone too much, and having to make every decision on my own will be tough too. I wont have my mum and dad around to ask for help whenever I want to.

funny thing... I was just thinking about this on my way in to work this morning...

 

 

I'm not so much 'afraid' as I am bummed that I am getting older. Sure, the 'silver lining' to this may be the knowledge and experience I've learned and gained throughout the years... but at the same time.. I am not looking forward to getting older than I already am.. 30 is a whole new decade people!! Soon, 40.. then 50.. then 60! Jinkies.. I don't want to be old and alone.. I have no ambition to start a family.. nor to have children.. but if that means me dying alone in my little apartment, with no one to lick my face but Berrycat.... so be it. I don't like the fact that my metabolism has slowed down immensly!! I hate the fact that soon I will be getting grey hairs.. and I will be forced to dye my hair.. :embarrased: I hate the fact that I may no longer be able to dress the way I want to dress for fear of things 'saggin' in and out of place lol perhaps all these are superficial.. and not important.. but for some one with self esteem issue such as myself.. it makes a difference lol Also, one health starts to come into play... all those years of smoking.. drinking.. stuff like that.. it will now start to take its toll. :embarrased:

 

yeah.. 30 is still young.. but its almost 1/2 of my life expectancy.. gone where?? I feel time is speeding up on me for some reason.. and I don't like. No sir.. not one bit. :embarrased: :cry:

Well I'm 17 on Saturday and I'm scared as hell about getting older.

 

I keep thinking I won't have enough time to do everything I wanna do when I'm older. :P

I have 2 years left to finish highschool and I just keep thinking what I'm gonna do with my life,college,relationships,being a grownup...

i do not fear getting older, i infact wish to get older. being almost 18 and looking 13 is horrible....

I don't fear getting older, though now at my age, I do think about certain things. I need to get some priorities straightened out. Need to figure out what I'm doing in life. :lol:

One day I dreamt that i will die at 89 years in 2073.It told me my Aunt who rests in heaven!So....... :smug:

Anyway,I'm not worried to get older.It's a thing that u can't modify!
