Professor Peedston
every time i listen to the white album, all i can think about during "Yer Blues" is how out of tune the bass is. anybody else have similar stories?

Professor Peedston
oh, i thought of another, there's a radiohead song where it's just a guitar and vocals and you can hear phil put down his drumsticks and walk away. i think it's "you never wash up after yourself." Professor Peedston
they must not have been in a recording studio when they recorded whatever part that showed up on... because if you can hear cars driving by outside in the recording studio, i don't think many people would pay money to use that studio... Esnapand
whot? Anyway, during U2's Ultraviolet the drummer Larry Mullen lost a drumstick. He continued with the other while picking up the lost one. *goes listening to Help Is Round the Corner*
Corner Kid
on Van Halen III (yes, sadly, I've owned that record) They have an instrumental song where everyone plays percussion, and Eddie Van Halen rhythmically brushes a broom against the concrete floor, and as he's brushing, the broom snaps and he drops the wooden pole and you hear a "CLANK" and him say "SHIT!" Then he gets down on his knees and grabs the bristles end and keeps sweeping...
Professor Peedston
haha the pinnacle of professionalism, those guys. oh, and i have to do this, i hope you understand: YOU OWN VAN HALEN III!!!! BWAAAHAHAHA!!!! :P
Corner Kid
lol I understand completely. I traded it in at a CD store and I think I remember the guy was like "you owned this album?" and i was like "i'm trading it in, aren't I?"

squirlymoo
I can't remember which U2 song (I think it's Lemon) it is, but in the very beginning you can hear Larry ask what song it is that they're playing milliseconds before they start. It's kinda entertaining.
