I have the Libs WBOTLL EP, with DLBITS on it amongst others - but isn't there a non-Mick Jones version of it too? It sounds different I think. I don't have it on my laptop & I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have it and could please upload it for me? :)

4. I have to agree with what both Rachel and Danielle said a couple of pages back regarding The Libertines :). Listening to them has definitely changed my life, and that's a lot to say for me since everything I listen to in one way or another defines me. However, I would only give that top spot of changing my life to three bands and one of them is definitely The Libs. I dont like to ramble about my life but I havent necessarily been living the easiest period of my life but their music has definitely spoken to me and has let me see that worrying too much about what others say or think is just a waste. Yanno, FUCK Em! :smug:

I can see that not only in their lyrics but also with the music itself. Its so unrehearsed and even messy, but that shows that theres beauty even in what might sound to others as a bunch of noise. I know Im rambling but their music is just the best in all the senses. They make me happy and in my opinion that's how music show make people feel, intsead of sad and depressed. Its funny cause I cannot recall how it was that I started listening to them, but Im glad that regardless of how it was, that it did :D :D.

The Libertines are the beauty amongst the rubble and trash, that's what I think. It certainly takes a different kind of ear to appreciate it, although I wouldn't like to think so. I'm positive EVERYONE could enjoy them, if they just got over themselves and stopped being such prudes.

Well, I haven't gotten my Canon XTi yet... but I'm pretty convinced it's going to be a very good camera for me, the digital rebel. My friend Meg has the XT digital rebel and she loves it, takes really great pictures with it. It's an 8mp, whereas the one I got for xmas is 10... I mean what the hell it was only like a 100 more, actually. But yeah, I wouldn't go so far as to recommend my camera just yet, since I haven't had a chance to use it... but I always hear good things about Canon ;)

Babyshambles launch fashion line with lunch time show

Babyshambles played a lunchtime gig in the car park of London department store Selfridges today (December 7).

Kicking off at 1.50, Pete Doherty and his band played a four-song set to mark the launch of Manchester fashion label Gio-Goi new range, which was inspired by the singer.

With fans urged to get to the seventh floor car park for “12.30pm sharp”, some feared the singer would not make the show, and a significant minority drifted off during the long wait.

However when he did finally take the stage Doherty made fun of his reputation asking the crowd “Where have you been?, I’ve been in the stationary department on my own for the last hour-and-a half."

Despite then promising the crowd a three-song set, Babyshambles then powered through four tracks for the assembled fans.
