This is the deal. Peter has to make changes in his life in order to sort of shut people's mouths. If he keeps dating Kate, then he is only seen as the junkie boyfriend, and no matter what he does, he'll always be the one with the lesser value and fame. The downfall of Moss, what led her into her dark path, or whatever the fuck they were saying on tv last time.

The Pete/Kate thing is way too mainstream and commercial...to me. I just hope that regardless of whether he is with Kate or not, he has to get his life out of the public eye.

definitely they're a commercial couple, 'cos both are quite well-known (when I was in London I realised that Pete was so well-known, i think i was in Lon- Victoria station and appeared on the tv-news, in a big screen there was over there. I was quite surprised!), so there's nothing to do against rumours, I reckon. :\

I don't know, I don't think that if they broke up it'd stop anything... and I wouldn't want him to because of the pap at all. But when I heard they did I couldn't but feel slightly relieved.... but now they're together again. I'm ahppy for him, and I'm glad that if this is what he wants, and she wants, then they deserve to be together....but... I dunno, this whole Thailand stuff is aweful.

I dunno, I just wish the media wouldnt focus on them too much. Seriously, who cares where they go or what they do. I think they are cute together, maybe it bothers me, personally, when people's lives are followed waay too much, specially if its for worse.

I suppose the matter is the fact that they get clean of drugs at last. Then people won't have anything to talk about...

Anyway, I think you're right, if they're good together, then I wish them the best and I prefer them to be like that, but not that way. I think the Thailand thing only would help them to keep on following that vicious circle of drugs.

Yeah. I wish they'd stay together, but in London, really on the down low. Maybe Peter just recording and Kate focusing on her modeling and acting and all that. Put travel and parties on hold...

My sister came back last week she lives in germany and i havent seen her in like a year or so , i wasent really into libs/dpt/shambles back then , so now she come's back and while she's cheking out my ipod , she just goes Babyshambles ?!!?! who are they ? so i tell her the whole stroy but at soon as the name of Peter came out , she just stops listening she just goes on ..about music for junkys and how the brit government almust takes Kate's daughter away from her and its all becouse of Peter ....

 

I mean thats the kind of image that Peter has all over Europe and the rest of the world .. i mean people should realiced he didnt forced Kate into the drugs .. she was an alcoholic , but aperently people dont remeber that ...

I think i'd want peter and kate to stay together cause Peter's basically just givin up the drugs for her more than anyone else and i think that if they did break up then peter would have nowhere to live and just go into to crack houses again. It really annoys me how people think that kate was this angel before she met peter cause she wasn't she used to go out and get pissed and use drugs with naomi cambell and people like that but yet she got photographed using drugs when peter was in the same roomas her so now it's got to be all his fault. And for the people who were speaking about him last night they say they've never heard his music so why don't they actually listen to some before they go slagging him off cause i think that peter's an amazing poet but yet they don't know that cause all the media's totally ruined that for him.

well, here they're a bit unknown... although I knew they were into drugs 'cos I watched it on the telly (in a music programm, btw, though in that programm they never showed any videoclip by the Libs or Babyshambles).

 

I agree with you, Juli. I'm sure he didn't force Kate to take drugs, 'cos i think it's a personal decision, and what's more, she is an adult person, so she can take her own decisions.

I don't think he wants to give up the drugs just for kate i mean there's his family and his son but he never gave them up before for carl or his family but then kate told him she wouldn't marry him unless he gave up drugs and then he ends up completing rehab but i think that it shows that he does truly love her. I was talking to this guy from my college the other day and he doesn't like him and he says he's just going out with kate just for the publicity but he's obviously not cause he hates all the media i don't understand why people can't just realise that they do actually love each other and its not just a media scandal and i really could of smacked that lad he was so annoying he thought he new all about him just cause he reads the paper.

I agree with all of you. However, I dont really care whether Kate is with Pete, but I never really thought of it the way Rachel put it. I do believe now that I;ve given some thought that Pete might be fighting for his own because of Kate. Maybe not all because of her, but his family and thousands of other reasons. Kate did influence that at some point and by sticking with her, Im sure she can sort of lure him into doing more positive changes.

 

Makes sense. So, together or not, I just want the best for both.

 

Partying, and whatever comes along because of being in the public eye should put aside for now :smug:
