March 21, 200620 yr to be honest Fix You had only one real b-side as well ;) Pour Me (live) was upped on this forum before the single was released I prefered that original version. Although the newer version has grown on me too...
March 21, 200620 yr dont know if its been mentioned yet but i read in the sun newspaper tha it is going to be "Download Only" now to me this seems a bit different to radio only also it gives it some chance of incorporating b sides into the download as well or maybe not?? Bohs Man.

March 21, 200620 yr I think the UK will get a format (Live EP)...it just won't be eligible for the chart. But Japan, Australia, etc will probably get some sort of other release... That's my guess, anyway. Dave

Bohs Man. Some weeks ago someone on the official site said that. I actually wouldn't mind download only because then I could actually buy the single. It's a pain to find singles here.
March 22, 200620 yr The Hardest Part promo There are 1 trk. promo CD single's of 'The Hardest Part' floating around on Ebay. They have the similar X & Y artwork motif although they are embossed on the cover and the same color as the background - Purple. 'Speed of Sound' - RED 'Fix You' - GREEN 'Talk' - WHITE 'The Hardest Part' - PURPLE ....which leads me to believe there will be a CD release for 'The Hardest Part' of some sort in some country ie: EU/Australia/Japan. As for B-Sides, I guess we just have to wait and see. I want nothing more than 'Ladder To The Sun' or 'The Water Flows Over(Solid Ground)' but it seems now highly unlikely at this point. There is definitely going to be live B-sides but as for what songs or CD release's in what countries still remain's to be seen.... I hope we get more news soon.
March 22, 200620 yr The Hardest Part tis true these are radio promo's but the emebossment itself does suggest unique artwork all onto itself.... March 22, 200620 yr Don't mean to sound stupid but why is everyone so surprised? Didn't they do exactly the same thing with Don't Panic and God Put a Smile Upon Your Face? (I know they came out in other countries as proper singles or as promos) GPASUYF was definitely a 'proper' single - I've got Ian's copy sat on the bookshelf next to me. the B-Sides were Murder, Politik & Lips Like Sugar.

HMV.co.uk is taking pre-orders for a Hardest Part Live EP which they say will be released on Thurs 6th April. HMC.com.au have no listing for the Hardest Part. Amazon.de has listings for a vinyl EP Amazon.fr also has listings for a vinyl EP Amazon.ca has a listing for a japanese import which they say will be released on 20th April I did try amazon.jp and amazon china but was a little stymied by the chinese characters! Checking out THE, the UK wholesaler which the company I work for uses, brings up no result for Hardest Part except on X&Y

March 22, 200620 yr The Hardest Part I have that copy of God put A Smile On Your Face as well as a copy with just 'Murder'....= ....Same with Don't Panic. I have one in a slim-line(Australia) and 1 in a digipak(France). Both have 'You Only Live Twice' but the French comes with the Don't Panic(OUI FM) acoustic as the 3rd trk. instead of 'Bigger, Stronger'(live)....
