Yeah, the hotel nightclubs in europe seem to play great music. Hotel Costes comes to mind.

David Gray never got a lot of airplay in America...I was hooked when I heard Babylon II.

No he really didn't get that much airplay, only on adult contemporary stations.

his earlier albums are loads better - flesh/sell sell sell are both brilliant. They are more angry, and i think his voice suits that better. I love white ladder but having heard it everywhere it loses it's impact.

 

A new day at midnight, although i liked it at the time, really is his weakest album and i am glad that he says he is changing his sound again for this new album... !

I don't know if I will be in town for his next concert...I want to go though

David Gray is a legend, I love him as much as I love Coldplay, my favourite song of his is Gathering Dust, my favourite album probably being A Century Ends. I definatly prefered White Ladder to A New Day At Midnight.

Hopefully I'll be seeing him August 6th if time permits! Which will only add to this incredible year of concert going!! I still have Hot Hot Heat, another Keane show, Coldplay and U2 to look forward to as well! :lol:

He is brilliant. I only have songs i have heard of his on the Radio. To me however he is a Male Norah Jones. Which is a huge compliment. His voice has so much power and emotian but he keeps it under wraps until he wants to use it. Hes brilliant and i really need to get some of his albums asap.
