:laugh1: Y'know video directors are failed movie makers, and some of them are so bitter they wanna ruin other people's careers. Or maybe Anton just comes up with his ideas while being drunk or high, that'd explain odd videos like Enjoy The Silence or one by Nirvana (can't remember the name)

 

 

 

 

I did mention it, Trouble is one of the -if not the- best Coldplay video. Guy is the one tied up by the way...

I think speed of sound is a brilliant video... it just works together with the song...

Speed of Sound has grown on me I must admit.

But there must be at least 3 way-too-similar videos around

i dont think the x&y vids are the best, but somehow i think coldplay made jokes on their vids to prove that they're not that depressing and have a good sense of humour.

and now the hardest part vid is growing good on me..

well, it's just me but I like videos with a storyline, that's why I liked The Scientist so much. The Hardest Part is just....weird, but no plot :(

my fave is GPASUYF.. it has a plot, and the guys was hot... :D

I really liked the GPASUYF video...it was humourous and the guys looked good, the black and white was a good effect.

I like the US vid for Trouble and the vid for Dont Panic...theyre really different and were quite "arty", like them a lot.

I didnt mind Talk...although it was quite cheesy. Fix You was a nice vid although kinda boring.

hmmm....Im kinda indifferent to vids...they are really great to watch but its the song that really counts in the end.

I had to be up very early the day after the video exclusive on channel 4, so I couldn't be bothered to hang round for the thing to come on. I still haven't watched it, and from the sounds of it, its not worth bothering with esp. as the song isn't even going to be released to buy in the shops!!!! Whats the point? Massive waste of money. Sorry I forgot, these people have got so much money they can afford to waste it carn't they!!!!

To be frankly with you all, I do find the X&Y Video's good (apart from The Hardest Part, that has got to be an early April Fools joke) but ...

 

Speed of Sound, Fix You, Talk ... they were all video's that did not really fit the song. Especially Talk.... and ESPECIALLY THE HARDEST PART!

 

I sometimes picture one of my favourite songs of X&Y, Low as a video and before Low I did that with The Hardest Part.

 

I thought of a sea, nature, birds something like that, combined with twilight and all that. Or Urban City life and so on.

 

Long story short: Coldplay keeps making Video's which do not fit to their song (their songs being perfect most of the time).

i find sos the worst coldplay vid..ever. it's senseless..

 

the rest couldn't be better than it is already.

↑that's what I'm saying, one or two performance videos are enough, but when you get something like SOS which is like Clocks but more sofisticated (in my opinion,not much better)....it gets boring
