Oh man, these guys on here are not even worth bothering with as they have no will to truly care about the truth at this point......(fabricated lies they say? They will come around someday)

.....I actually do not align myself with any particular side. Left and right are all about division and it seems that today (especially in the media) you have to be one or the other. I have views on some things which people would call "right" and some view which may be call "left".

I just want to do what is right and it is not always easy but I certainly don't subscribe to the flase left-right paradigm.

Are you an Anarchist?

Gareth, I think you raise some really great points in this thread. Don't worry about the people that give you shit for your beliefs. Although I believe some of what you say. I almost have to hope that it's not true so I can continue to live in denial and think that my country wouldn't do something so horrific. Keep fighting the fight.

Thanks!

I've witnessed hardcore, so-called 'mainstream conservatives' change their whole viewpoint before - and it turns out that they actually sat down one weekend and separated the bull from the valid information. There was then no other conclusion in their mind.

I'm not too bothered about people giving me a hard time over this (although support is always welcome). These things are complex and it takes time....

Disappointing.

hahaha, I'm sorry. :embarassed: Although I do get very, very mad sometimes...That help? :idea2:

There are some laws that should be abolished...especially in the US (areas of the income tax laws, perhaps ). I can never understand how a successful bid by one person in the US that beat the income tax law can still mean that others have to pays on their earnings. I know the state laws can sometimes cause confusion but when it can be proven unconstitutional in one state it just seems wrong that other people have failed to win....

ok conspiracy theories are usually never summed up so let this guy believe what he wants, but at the same time Gaze you need to learn when to shut up honestly. Not everyone is so easily swayed and doesn't want to read your shit load of links. without even reading it though is there any mention of the jet fuel from the planes?

i watched some tv program on the history channel or something and it mentioned that the maximum heat from the jet fuel was not physically possible to be hot enought to melt the steel inside.

What are your links solely on that Gaze?

Jay and I just think it's funny that you can bash government so much and then say you believe in "the principle of law". It seems to me that if you really truly believe government did this, the only logical conclusion/solution you could reach is the removal of government in its entirety.

Josh, you're allowed to have an opinion without Jay approving.

Hahahaha shut up.

Jay (9:37:42 PM): it's funny to me that a conspiracy theorist like GazeeboflossUK can be so outrageous on the 9/11 thing

Jay (9:37:52 PM): but still be like "I believe in the principle of law"

Me (9:37:52 PM): and not be an anarchist

Notice how we reached the same conclusion at the same time.

Look.....

...a principle of law is a codified philosophical ("principle"), which represents the core of a law as found in a constitution, in precedent, or else is interpreted to arise from either or both.

Again, you guys are coming across as idiots with the things you are writing - I'm not saying you are idiots but it just appears that way.

So let me get this straight....

'You use the term "conspiracy theory/theorists" as a one-sided derogatory term. While some “conspiracy theories” certainly are preposterous the term “conspiracy theory” is far too convenient for putting down speculations that are simply uncomfortable for the status quo. No one would dispute that conspiracies can and do exist. As David Ray Griffin points out in his excellent books about 9/11, all explanations of this tragic event, including the official one, are in fact “conspiracy theories.” But somehow it is only those that contradict the government position (no matter how rationally) that get labelled with this pejorative term. Similarly, regarding the JFK assassination, any suggestion that Oswald wasn’t acting alone would by definition be a “conspiracy theory.” And yet, the official version is riddled with ridiculous inconsistencies and loose ends. Yes, Oswald could have been a lone nutcase; but that “conspiracy of one” explanation is only a loose fit for the known facts, and many other possibilities remain.

It is vital that we continue to ask questions and seek truth in such important cases. That doesn’t mean that we have to abandon all our critical faculties; quite the contrary. But it does mean that we must risk occasionally being slapped with a facile and derogatory label like “conspiracy theorist".

You also put forward the idea that I must be an anarchist because I do not believe that the official story of 9/11 is true? They are not synonymous. You either are not understanding me or are watching too much Glenn Beck (in the US)

No he was actually saying, if you think the government is evil enough to kill it's own people en masse, how can you possibly support any kind of system with a governmental ruling body? It doesn't make sense.

Plus, all of what you've said there doesn't make any theory about 9/11 being an "inside job" any more likely, or make us any more ignorant for shooting it down. You're basically saying all theories about anything deserve a level playing field, which in my opinion is ridiculous. If someone came up to me and said "A giant unicorn possessed the pilots and forced them to crash into the World Trade Center, because unicorns are pure evil, despite what fairy tales may say" I should not have to treat that with the same respect as "It was a terrorist hijacking".

I'm not comparing your theory to the unicorn thing, I'm merely saying your point is flawed.

You shouldn't have even bothered. You did compare my belief to the unicorn thing and then just afterwards said "I'm not comparing".....

I did say however that some theories are ridiculous, true (like if someone did believe in the unicorn thing for example) - but when there is some cold, hard facts and some truly sound science involved, people should take another look.

I'm also saying that the term conspiracy theory is now instantly seen as wacky......and it's been done intentionally

AE911Truth with Richard Gage, AIA LIVE STREAMED from The Commonwealth Club of California

AE911Truth with Richard Gage, AIA

LIVE STREAMED

from The Commonwealth Club of California

TOMORROW, Tuesday, Sept 8 starting at 5:45PM Pacific http://brightpathvideo.com/AE/LiveStream.html

http://www.ae911truth.org/

Dear AE911Truth Supporters,

1. An important event for the 9/11 truth movement will occur on Tuesday night in San Francisco when Richard Gage, AIA, speaks at the oldest public forum in the nation, The Commonwealth Club of California. Architects & Engineers For 9/11 Truth will web-cast this event live on the Internet from our website AE911Truth.org.

We follow in the footsteps of the great David Ray Griffin, who first broke the 9/11 Truth barrier at the Commonwealth Club last year. In just under 40 minutes we will present the scientific evidence for the explosive controlled destruction of the 3 World Trade Center high-rises on 9/11. We will examine the behaviour of these buildings as well as the explosive evidence found in the debris. More evidence may be found on our website and DVD.

A screening of this historic moment will be presented in New York City at 56 Walker Street. Also, everyone is encouraged to tune in on your own computer as Mr. Gage explains why the official conspiracy theory put forth by NIST is not supported by the evidence, and that explosive controlled demolition is, very unfortunately, the only viable explanation for the WTC destruction in New York City on September 11, 2001.

Pre-register! If you are local and coming please make sure to get your tickets today as it might be sold out.

We’ll see you live at 5:45!

2. Richard Gage will also be a guest on the Alex Jones Show the next day, Wednesday, Sept 9, at 11:00 AM Pacific to discuss the recent National Geographic Channel hit piece 9/11: Science & Conspiracy.

GazeboflossUK, I have no disrespect at all for people who believe alternative views of historical events, especially if they differ from the government-approved versions. As far as I'm concerned, unless I was present during the event and had full understanding of the situation, I can't claim to know all the facts.

I also want you to understand that I'm not calling you an anarchist in a negative way - I'm an anarchist, and so is Josh. I respect your views without dismissing them outright, so I'd hope you will do the same for mine. Anarchism isn't chaos/insanity/a disrespect for law/authority. Not at all. It's just an awareness that "governance" is not what governments do. They loot, murder, and lie. Anarchists also don't claim that anarchy would be a panacea for solving all problems - we understand human nature isnt' perfect. We just think market-based (read: profit driven) security agencies are a superior method of ensuring safety than giving a monopoly of violence to one corporation (the government). Socialism doesn't work in the delivery of any goods/services, not even the services government claims it is absolutely necessary for.

My biggest issue with anarchy is the assumption that people will be nice to each other. How can there be such certainty in its ability to do good. Perhaps if the anarchist system began with the understanding to look out for your fellow man/woman at all costs then perhaps.

colduser, humans are a social species by nature. We don't need a central, coercive body to force us to make friends and carry on good relations with one another.

Indeed, government is what drives people apart. It's what one group leverages to take away the rights/money of another group.

The tendency to assume that anarchy would lead to pillaging and violence is a result of backwards-thinking with regard to the direction of civilization's development. Human civilization has become less and less brutal with time, accelerating at an astounding rate. People understand that minorities should have rights, even though in a democracy they can technically take them away (and often do). Children grow up not noticing race.

These advances in the general maturity & enlightenment of the population are not a gift from the government. They are self-evident natural law, that an advanced capitalist (trading) society stumbles upon as it develops. More often than not, it is man-made laws that end up being the biggest impediment to society's progress.

Jay, I appreciate your response. I still do not understand how you can be so confident that society will not break down in an anarchy. How will people's needs be met. How can you be sure of this utopian view.

I read this speech by Murray Rothbard here: http://www.lewrockwell.com/rothbard/rothbard133.html

It is pretty chill and lays out much of what you talk about. I would love to get your take on it.

I liked his closing statement

"Enough has been said here, I believe, to indicate that an anarchist system for settling disputes would be both viable and self-subsistent: that once adopted, it could work and continue indefinitely. How to arrive at that system is of course a very different problem, but certainly at the very least it will not likely come about unless people are convinced of its workability, are convinced, in short, that the state is not a necessary evil."

I'm going to use my 3,000th to direct peoples' attention to this video (all of my posts are of the same high quality & caliber as far as I'm concerned):

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyKR2-A0KPU]YouTube - Charlie Sheen's Video Message to President Obama[/ame]

Again, I'm not suggesting it's the truth, but it definitely raises serious doubts in my mind.

I almost wrote my senior thesis on anarchy (and not in a good light), but I didn't.

You're right, anarchy is horrific. Hundreds of millions slaughtered, trillions stolen, the indoctrination of children, turning neighbors against each other... oh wait, that's Statism.
