July 31, 200619 yr Well, I only have a few pictures of the Badeinsel-Regatta not of Verena, Felix, Sarah or me. :( I was so angry when I wanted to see the pictures and realized that they were all gone. But Verena took a lot of pictures as well. Maybe she will upload some of them this week. :) I can upload two or three pictures of the event if you want. I also have a video of someone who tried to walk over the little plastic "islands" to reach the other river side. ;)
July 31, 200619 yr So here are some pics of the Badeinsel-Regatta lol... First, a picture of the river Weser. On the background the historical city of Bremen. First tournament: People have to reach the other river side by walking on 100 of little red plastic "islands"... For every "island" they got 1 liter of Becks beer. Main event: 2 people on every island have to paddle nearly 2km to become first! Here on the white ship you can see all competitors of this event a few minutes before the race started. Ophélie, do you have some pictures of Cyprus? I really would like to see a few of them. ^^

The best one reached island nr. 29 so he won 29 liters of beer. ;) It was really funny to see people fall off! But I'm so angry about the missing pics! Especially the last ones in the evening sitting together on the dike while listening to a concert were so nice! :( But Verena took a lot more pictures.
